  • Uber Metal Will Blow You Away

    This is a dangerous pedal. It might even kill a few people if you use it live. This extreme pedal has saturated tone, but doesn't fuzz or muddy up. The harmonics and sustain are awesome, and the controls can give you some versatility in your sound. The thing is built like an armored car. I love the way Line6 designed the battery access panel -you simple push a couple of buttons and open the pedal. The only thing that sucks about this pedal, and thus the nearly perfect rating, is that a nine-volt battery dies quickly - I mean quickly. You must get the adapter.

    What ever your style, don't pass this up! I adore this pedal. The Uber Metal is by far my favorite distortion I have owned. I play lots of shows with my band and it holds its own. I used to own the FabTone by Danelectro but replaced it with this one. This pedal gives you so much control with the scoops, style settings, and even the gate selectionsI recently played on an old Crate Voodoo tube head that had little bass and middle on the clean. This pedal holds up to most tube amp distorted channels and with the noise gates built in(this will save you the trouble of buying a seperate pedal), crank it to 11 and fear nothing!

  • Great Metal Pedal

    In short this pedal saved me thousands of dollars, in amp exspense. It has the tone from Black Sabbath, Metallica, Tool etc,etc. You just need to play with it a bit. Set your amps to a neutral setting including your pre amp. Turn of any Noise Gates you may have aside from the one on the pedal.The pedal is very user friendly I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a Chunky Metal Tone.
