The vintage and modern amp tones you need.

The wide range of Spider IV 15 amp tone starts strong, with a bright and distinctive American clean tone, and then opens gradually to achieve the vintage grit and chime of classic British amplifiers. Experience the infamous "Brown" sound distortion, which is based on a '68 Marshall Plexi 100 with a Variac and jumped input channels, and a searing high-gain tone based on a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier.

With one-touch ease you can access 4 channels of world-class Line 6 tones that were masterfully dialed in by pro players. Plus, each channel also stores 4 complete amp settings of your own creation! Create, save and recall amp model, EQ, gain and effect settings with the push of a button. A wolf in sheep's clothing, Line 6 Spider IV 15 sounds ferocious at low volumes as well as cranked to 11. Plus, value-packed, the guitar amp puts pro sounds into a lightweight box that's small enough to tuck under your bed or desk. Joining the Line 6 community entitles you to top-tier customer service provided by Line 6 representatives and other Spider IV users. • First amp!

As reviewed by Felix Rivera on 7/16/2012

This was my very first amp! it works great I bought it because i had an acoustic before my electric! and at the place where i take lessons they have this amp for electrics. I had herd it before i bought it. it works great with my epiphone les paul! it has many settings like a built in tuner and 4 sound settings like clean, metal, crunch and insane. i don't like to touch the insane one because i live in an apartment! but over all good amp!

  • All these possibilities for only $100?

As reviewed by Lucas Meinstad on 10/21/2011

Amazing sums this amp up I'd say. I've had this thing for about a month and a half now, and I haven't played through anything else since then. With 4 different channels and 6 fx IN the amp itself, how could you go wrong? If your like me, you're not the definition of rich at all. All of my guitars and amps have been under $200, so we're talking major small budget. This thing blows me away. I have plugged Drop A guitars in this thing and the bottom end is BRUTAL! I've also plugged in standard tuned guitars in and have gotten beautiful sounding cleans, and with good settings, even done sweet blues licks as well! $100 can go along way with this thing! I don't regret a second played on this amp, and will probably have this til I'm in the ground for how useful this is!

  • Great Amp for the price

As reviewed by David Sabatine on 12/24/2013

This is a fantastic buy for less than a hundred bucks. The amp sounds great for the price. The metal and insane channels really do a nice job with the high gain. The "crunch" channel is pretty versatile, as with no gain you can get a really nice clean sound, and with some gain and bass get a nice bluesy crunch to it. The amp is worth every penny, and is great for a beginner or just someone wanting to use a practice amp. The downfalls--really lose tone at higher volumes. The amp can get really loud for its size, but sounds really bad, even when cranked between 1/2 and 3/4 full volume. Forget turning it all the way up--it sounds god awful. Also, the "clean" channel has a rather annoying echo on it, and the only way to get rid of it is to turn on one of the echo effects, then turn them off. Same exact thing with the "insane" channel. All in all though, It's a wonderful, affordable buy for what it offers. I don't know any other amps under a hundred dollars that I would buy and actually use.
