Line 6 Relay G90 Rackmount Digital Wireless Guitar System (502388)

A lightweight, low-profile wireless system that provides guitarists with 300 feet of freedom.

The Line 6 Relay G90 digital wireless system provides a pure signal so guitars get a beautiful high-end sparkle and basses get a thunderous low-end punch, even at distances of up to 300 feet. The signal's clarity rivals that of the highest-quality guitar cables. Unlike traditional wireless systems, this system offers superior sound with full bandwidth and zero compression.

Not only does the Relay G90 wireless system sounds just you're using a direct cable, but it can also sound just like the cable you would normally use. It features EQ settings to match the frequency response of your guitar cable so you can switch between the Relay G90 and your cable without having to change the settings on your sound amp. Different players use different cables, but all players can use Line 6 Relay G90.

Professional Dependability
The Relay G90 wireless mic system broadcasts its robust signal over the 2.4GHz band. This keeps the signal free from many kinds of interference. For added security, it employs exclusive signal protection technology. Each of its channels broadcasts an encrypted data over four different frequencies simultaneously. Traditional wireless mic systems, on the other hand, broadcast over congested UHF bands, so their signals can be susceptible to interference generated as far away as 100 miles or more.

Refreshing Simplicity
The Relay G90 is easy to use. Bright LCDs and LEDs on the transmitter and receiver display all critical system functions including power, status, channel number, battery life, and more. Plus, it finds open channels right out of the box.

The wireless instrument system includes transmitter, 1RU rack-mountable receiver, and all necessary accessories including antennas, guitar cable, power supply, and batteries.

  • Zero Tone Loss

As reviewed by BillyBSC on 1/2/2011

Im the type of buyer that likes to research and read pages of reviews before I get the courage to make a purchase. I finally decided to give this one a try and I have never been happier. I have always been against wireless because my buddies told me they destroy your tone but this actually makes my tone sound better. Buy one, its worth the 600

  • Great system

As reviewed by WILLIAM RIDNER on 2/2/2014

Been looking to get a new generation, digital wireless for some time. My main criteria was quality/sturdy construction, size (I wanted a single rack space unit, not a little half space) and obviously no difference in sound between being corded and wireless. I got what I wanted with this system. Disregard any old reviews about flimsy construction. Both the receiver AND transmitter are metal now. Really solid. A piece of cake to install and fire up. I literally had it out of the box, installed in my rack and was playing through it in under 15 minutes. Sounded like I was plugged in with my Monster Bass cable. I am so glad I went with this system.

  • Great Sound

As reviewed by Louie Andrews on 2/6/2012

Been playing through this unit for a over a year now. Excellent tone, and the cable tone function is very useful. The Schecter 8 string played through the Fender Twin (100 watt)sounds the same when cordless and cable tone set at 5 feet, as it does with a Phil Jones Cable (the best). An unexpected perk to using this system is how fantastic my acoustic Taylor 616 sounds, remarkable. When using the Taylor, I do have to adjust the 'Cable Tone' setting to 60 feet, and then I get the acoustic tone, that you would have to hear to believe, out of my all tube electric guitar amps(Fender Twin, and Egnater Renegade). This unit has been very reliable for over a year, and the range is more like 220 feet in the real world if you are line of sight with no obstructions. The only disadvantage is when at home, it occasionally interferes with our wireless internet hub, so we had to switch channels to resolve the conflict. Another unexpected benefit to this system is that all the feedback and nastiness that you can run into is now gone. I am not a technician, but after doing this for a few years, I am also no longer a fan of cables. This unit just gives you clean tone, without problems and that make things easy for someone like me. I really like the fact that this system uses AA batteries, as we already have rechargeables for our other equipment. In the Schecter I usually get 4 hours of playing time on one set of 2700 mah rechargeable batteries. I now have this unit plugged into a Wampler 'EGO' compressor which feeds a Digitech RP1000 effects system and can not be happier with the tone and flexibility of this set up. I would recommend this unit.
