micro spider rocks !
I bought this amp about 4 weeks ago and I've used it about 5 times. I bought it mainly because it works on batteries and it also came with an AC adapter.I was totally amazed by the power that this small amp has.The special effects are pretty neat for what they are although I do have my own foot pedals that are better. If youre looking for a small practice amp that's going to give great sound and not sound like its comming out of transister radio this one is perfect.I don't know how long the batteries will last with constant playing.I will find out as I use it more.If youre limited for space this amp can fit almost anywhere.Again so far so good. Thanks for reading this.

Awesome
I recently bought this and am amazed at the quality of this amp. I was considering getting a small Marshall amp untill I tried this one. Which had everything the Marshall had but more. Such as chorus flanger. I would suggest this amp to anyone who wants lots of effects.

Big Tone Does Come In Small Packages
I bought this amp yesterday and I was absolutely pleased with the sound that was coming out of it. I had to double take to make sure that it was this amp making the sound. The clean channel has a great sound to it kind of a bluesy tone. The Crunch channel is closely modeled after a 1980's Marshall Plexihead. The Metal channel is great for Rhandy Roads and Metallica. When you switch to the insane channel It is wicked. This amp os totally worth the money and it just goes to show you that big tone does come in small packages.

Best Practice and Small Gig Amp
This amp has everything. It sounds nice, can be battery powered, fits in a backpack, allows you to put a mic in it. If you're just starting out, chuck the amp that came with your starter kit and buy this. If you've been playing a while, leave the acoustic at home and bring this in a backpack with your electric. Trust me, you'll have fun.
Pros: Small, light, can be used with a microphone, has MP3/CD in, can run off batteries, can customize and save presets, works with electro-acoustics, built in tuner.
Cons: Doesn't sound as good when the volume is cranked.

In-freakin-credible
I bought this amp a few months ago and it is SICK. I mostly play an Ibanez RG5EX1 on it and the power of this little amp is amazing. i haven't even tried max volume and this little guy packs a massive punch. This amp is great for just about anything you want to play. The only thing I might say bad about it is the mike jack. When you plug in a mike, it loses some sound quality. I haven't used that many amps and maybe thats common but I think that may be the only thing. Its a very good price for a very sweet amp.

The Best Portable Amp For Your Money
I bought one of these almost a year ago now, and I couldn't be happier with it. It packs a surprising amount of power for its size, which you'll notice the 1st time you try to adjust the volume without using the channel volume knob. I've run a variety of instruments through this thing, ranging from a tely, to a les paul packed with active emg's, to a few different B.C. Rich models, and I’ve got to say, this amp will handle virtually everything you've got to throw at it. Before I saved enough money for a bass amp, I even played my bass through it for a period of a few months (at a low volume, of course. I didn't want to risk overloading it). As to be expected with all line 6 amps, its sound is extremely customizable, ranging from a crisp clean to the heaviest distortion you could want, and everything in between, along with a few really nice effects. Now, you're not gonna want to play a gig with it, but for daily living room playing or the occasional jam session, its a great amp. Presented with the choice of this, or a micro cube, it's a no brainer.

Great sound
The micro spider has a very good tone and also if you use it as a mic speaker it is crystal clear. I got it for christmas this year and have been enjoying the effects also. this amp is also very portable. the only thing i would suggest is if youre playing a gig with a full band i would save up to get a louder amp. i had a show a couple weeks ago and you could barely hear my amp and if you put the volume too high if its on clean it sounds like it has distortion. but overall i think its a great practice amp.

Disappointing
The amp has 4 settings, and they are: distorted, sounds like you blew a speaker, feedback, and sludge. Even with spending a weekend tweaking the factory presets, the amp just sounds like a fuzz box. My strat sounded OK on the 'acoustic setting' at the lowest volume but forget playing the les paul through this thing. Even for a practice amp the effects are cheesy. The amp's only redeeming feature is the tuner.
