Great for practice and gigs!
I was looking for a small combo to use when there just isn't room for my Peavey 4x10 half stack. We play classic rock, pretty much all genres and eras, so I needed something that modelled a lot of different amps and tones, at an affordable price. When the salesman pointed me to the Line 6 Low Down Studio 110 I thought, "No way is this going to deliver". I was wrong, this little baby can kick! It impressed everyone in the band at rehearsal the next night. I've used it twice at gigs, once outdoors as a preamp for my Peavey stack, and once as a stage monitor, using the XLR direct in to the house PA. Great tones, easy to use, small package, low price. It fit my needs to perfection!

Have Bass Will Travel!
This little monster is amazing! Had to downsize my practice rig due to space limitations and decibel limitations where my band currently rehearses. I told the guy at GC that I already had something that sounded good at gig volume; I need something that sounds good at very low volume. He showed me this. 10 minutes later I owned it. Took it to practice last night and I had a big smile on my face all night.
The features included on this thing are fantastic, even for the price. There are other small practice amps that sound good and cost $50 or $100 less, but you don't get the "extras" that this has. This thing allows me to pick up and go play anywhere and not have to take anything other than my bass, and a cable and a tuner. I can leave the pedal board at home because it has a built-in compressor, amp models that sound great, overdrive, DI and even a synth/envelope filter (that sounds amazingly good). My only wish is that it had a built-in tuner, but I am not going to ding it for that. Honestly, that is all that is missing.
Soundwise, it is very good. It is hard to believe that so much tone can come from such a small box. It isn't gong to replace a 4x10 or a 1x15, but it is not meant to either. You pay a price for portability. But with this thing, the price just went down! And you still can legitimately shake the walls with it. I'm not sure how it will do with a drummer yet. But for small practices and recording, it is perfect.
If you are tired of lugging a heavy combo around to practice or for impromptu jams like I was (this is replacing an SWR WM12), check this thing out. Did I mention it weighs less than 25 pounds and will fit in your lap if need be?

Great amp for the price
I bought this amp as my second amp(previously using a fender rumble 15) and this amp blows it away. It has good features, I especially like the grind. I would say save you money a little more and get a half stack, but if you want an amp for band practice or recording, and maybe some gigs, this is it.

Great portable amp and head!
This is a great portable amp it has the Watt's to stand against a drum set. and it just sounds great! the effects are also a great thing to have i mainly use the Rock effect with no drive to get a great low end boost.and it is light weight 24lb.! I'm a weak 15 year old teenage and i have no problem carrying it.
i also use it like a head because it makes my TKO® 115 by Peavey sound alot better.

Awsome Amp
This thing just blew me away. The tone quality and the combinations of various sounds that can be produced from this amplifier is just amazing. I am using a Gretsch Electromatic Jr Jet Bass (another incredible little wonder)with this amp and it's absolutely amzaing the variety of clear, clean tones that can be produced with this combination. I haven't had this much fun in years. Solid and well buit, compact and lound enough from small gigs and practice. Just incredible!

Light, Small, Loud
I got this amp about two weeks ago and so far no problems. The product contains 5 models as well as the synth. The Brit model listed on the upper models IS available, it is just a "special feature" which has to be activated when you turn the amp on. You can check out how in the instruction booklet at Line 6's website, or when you buy the product.
Each model works well although it takes some time to tweak it to exactly how you would like it. Also, i've heard of some people getting some type of echo/electronic sound on the clean funtion and i personally thought it sounded like my synth was still sort of on. All you need to do is to set the model memory for that function for the sound you like because what appears to be happening is that it is still funtioning under part of the previous model, a "snapshot" as they call it.
The amp is really light and it sits perfectly in the front seat of my car. I have not played any form or gigs with it but it deffinately packs some sound. There is also a -10db button for restriction near the input jack. Also, as a side note, the intruction booklet is helpful with in depth description of the synth as well as describing how to use the compressor which i know some people who are beginning arent always sure of. There is a threshold light that also flashes/goes on with the compressor.
Overall, it's a good buy for a beginner--if you are willing to spend this much, but deffinately a great practice amp--which is what i use it for, or something to take away to college. I play it with a Fender MIM Jazz and it sounds great with pop, slap, finger and pick style.

Powerful and versitile sound in such a convieniently small package. . .
What an awesome sounding combo! I cant really explain in words how surprised I was when I tested the one's at the store (whitch both worked with no problems at all). You would never imagine it could sound so powerful and responsive in such a small package. Not to mention the list of useful features like the 4 preset models that are seemlessly intergrated. Add 4 programable model memories that allow for a more customized/personalized sound. Also full time compression and XLR direct out for recording make this one perfect for the traveling bassist or anyone who does not want to sacrifice sound quality or features because they dont have the room. You dont have to take my word for it. If you are considering this amp combo, and are not sure, I recommend if possible heading over to a showroom to let the gear do the talking. You wont regret it!!

Good Idea Bad Execution
There were two display models in the store. One powered on but no sound. The other powered on and had decent sound but it was still a bit tricky to get a good sound. This amp looks great and I love the Idea of 75 watts in a portable package, but it seems a bit fragile. I don't think I can trust an amp that only works 50% of the time before you even buy it.
