The MX300 puts the great sound of a hardware Lexicon reverb-plus the ability to put that power to work as part of your DAW workflow via PC VST and Mac AU plug-ins-in one unit. Even better, the ultra-affordable MX300 comes packed with a significant portion of the capabilities from the powerful MX400.

All parameters of every reverb, delay and dynamic effect in this powerhouse processor are available inside any PC VST or Macintosh AU compatible DAW program. Just link your computer to the MX300 with a USB cable and control automation and recall parameters exactly as you would with any software plug-in. You get the sonic benefits only Lexicon hardware can provide…without bogging down your computer's CPU with the extreme demands of reverb plug-ins.

Along with the unique hardware plug-ins for PC and Mac, Lexicon has also included MX-Edit Librarian software so you can store and recall custom programs or pull up an unlimited number of Lexicon settings. Do a serious side-by-side listening test of the MX300 versus comparably priced competition and units costing far more. You'll hear why Lexicon is the leader in reverberation effects.

Full arsenal of voice and instrument-enhancing effects includes 16 Lexicon reverbs, seven delays, genuine DBX compression, de-essing, and modulated effects that will make any performance sound better.

Lexicon designed the MX300 to be ultra-easy-to use in demanding live sound situations. Once a program has been selected, you have instant access to three parameter knobs - instead of having to page through extra menus. You can program a whole night of presets, and dial them up quickly with the dedicated program select knob and bright LED display. Like every product that Lexicon makes, the MX300 is designed to withstand years of jarring, jostling, load-ins, load-outs, brownouts and power surges. It's simply the most live reverb ever offered at this price.

The MX300 lets you switch effect routings easily via front panel controls, so you don't have to spend time behind your rack changing cables. Dual Mono sends the Left and Right input signals through Effect 1 and Effect 2 respectively. Each signal is then routed to its respective output, completely independent from the other. Cascade (Series) sends Left and Right input signals first through Effect 1, then through Effect 2, and then routed as a stereo signal to their respective outputs. Dual Stereo (Parallel) routes Left and Right input signals through both effects independently. Both Effects' output signals are then mixed together, and routed to both the outputs as a single stereo signal. _Mono Split sends Left input signal through Effect 1, while the Right input signal is sent through Effect 2. The output signals of both Effects are then mixed together, and routed to both the outputs as a single stereo signal.

Stereo routing provides a single stereo effect path for Left and Right signals. This routing removes one of the effect modules for users requiring a streamlined signal path with only a single effect for their needs - but taking advantage of all of the MX300's processing horsepower.

Classic lexicon sound

from Austin, Texas

Comments about Lexicon MX300 Stereo Reverb Effects Processor with USB:

I have been out of the live sound arena for quite a few years and am rebuilding a system for live venues. This processor is a delight to work with. The programmability and effects are just what I needed. being able to control it with a computer and have 2 independent effects is very handy. I have the complete song list programmed and am able to call up any song and have complete settings at my fingertips. The effects are very good for a unit in this price range and as such I am considering purchasing another unit as I normally use 4 effects sends. It is very rugged and has a positive feel to all of the controls. The learning curve is easy to master and well worth the time spent. Reverbs are very natural sounding and gives me any sound I have needed. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone in need of high quality effects

Very good delays and reverbs!!+ extras

from kingstree s.c

Comments about Lexicon MX300 Stereo Reverb Effects Processor with USB:

I almost went with a delay and reverb pedal to replace a older rocktron intellifex LTD, very good sounding unit for some players, just not for me. I was thinking of going with a delay and reverb pedal to replace my rocktron unit, and waited for about 6months to choose which setup to go with. I am very glad I went with the lexicon mx300. This unit is very very simple to operate and get a great results. 99 factory and 99 user settings. I like the way I can configure with effect outputs and it layers the effects diffrently. I mainly got this unit for the delays and reverbs but it also has a nice tremelo, chours, flange and a few other effects that you can tweak and really get great results. I am sure a person could take a handful of boutique pedals and do the same thing but the cost would be higher. My only gripe about the mx300 is that if you choose a sinlge effect and configure the outputs parallel you can tailer the effect in more detail, you can only do this with a single effect, I wish the unit could go this in depth while running 2 effects, which all you can run is 2 effects at the same time with this unit ,(I would not hardly ever use more than that anyways). But all in all I would give this a 5 stars if you are picky about your reverbs and delays, very easy to get what you want with the menu screen. I use a rack systen that is stereo, with a ibanez af105 guitar and this unit completes my tone, great unit and would recoomend to anyone who wants great reverbs and delays.
