Like the Omega and Lambda, the Lexicon Alpha USB Audio Interface is a complete portable desktop recording studio. It offers a 2x2x2 USB I/O mixer which is powered directly from the USB bus. You can be connected to the XLR inputs and the 1/4" balanced line inputs at all times while controlling input levels and monitoring from the front panel. The front panel also offers a Hi-Z instrument input and a 1/8" headphone amplifier output suitable for all headphone types. Alpha ships with Steinberg Cubase LE recording/editing software and Lexicon Pantheon VST reverb plug-in.

Cubase LE offers 48 tracks of tracking, supports up to 8 VST instruments, and is compatible with both VST system link and Rewire 2. The Lexicon Pantheon VST reverb plug-in offers 35 factory presets and 6 reverb types and lets you edit 16 parameters per reverb type.

  • Great Interface even if Cuebase Le is a possesed child

    The Interface runs like a champ. it works great going straight or going thru my yamaha 16/6 mixer. the outputs for the speakers are absolutly awsome. if you're looking for a way to make the sound going from i tunes to your mixer. it sounds perfectly clear 500% better than using a heaphone jack. and the recording quality is great. cuebase le is a pain in the butt to register and makes all kinds of noise durring playback while trying to master tracks part of that is the fact i'm using a crap computer. btw. when mixdowning or " creating the audio track " the static noises cuebase makes durring mastering dont show up in the final product.

  • Unrealiable junk

    I bought this thing and within 1 month it stopped working. Was weak to begin with and mono only. Once it went bad it won't even work with Audacity let alone cubase or anything else. Do not buy this Peice of junk unless you like wasting money. Their factory warranty is useless( pay your own shipping costs etc.) What a joke. Now I will buy something better even if cost more. You get what you pay for always. I gave one star only for working a month.

    It sounded great at first, then it started to have really loud clipping and static noises. I thought it was my speakers so I turned them off and listened through my head phones. The result was still the same. This interface is faulty.
