It takes time to get use of supporting the neck of the guitar with your hand chord while trying to balance with your hand playing. I wish there are more alternatives than drilling holes in a delicate surface of a classical acoustic/electric guitar. I tried using some other type of straps (loops..) but the only thing I would get comfortable with is to have it like when using a regular guitar. Maybe some manufacturers may now finally come up with an idea of classical guitars (acoustic/electric)with strap locks & buttons for better support. Well, you do not always have to sit while playing music with classical guitars. Just like those regular acoustic guitars.
I was able to walk around and play to the different tables at the dinner gig. It was much better than when I didn't have a strap. The only drawback is I didn't have full use of my right hand as my forearm had to hold the guitar from flanging out. But it's the best I can do short of drilling a hole in the end of my beautiful hand made classical guitar and putting a strap button in it! I am happy with it!
Perfect for my Ukulele!!! Very Usefull.......No more neck pain :).
