• Levy's Faux Croc/Leather Gig bag

  Levy's somewhat new line of Faux Crocodile/Leather Gig Bags, and Guitar straps has become quite popular around my home, and the fever is catching on to whom ever sees me with either their straps or the LSM18CR-Tan Boutique model Gig bag, which is what I'm going to write about. I have always used Reunion Blues bags, so this was a real jump for me, however it certainly worked out well enough, and when I can, I'll purchase the bag in Red, and if they ever put up a picture of the Blue bag they supposedly make, I would be interested in that as well. There is no question that Reunion makes some great gig bags, however I've found some real competition for Reunion Blues, thats Levy's Leathers products and particularly their gig bags. Levy's LSM18CR-Tan is a beautiful Leather bag which was cut, and designed to look like crocodile which it most certainly does, and while the design is beautiful on the eye the bag offers good solid protection, and is easy to carry somewhat lighter on the back than Reunion Blues bags. Levy's leather's uses top grade leathers on all of their merchandise, and this bags Tan leather Crocodile body comes with a tough, durable Black Leather trim and handles. The Black leather trim and handles offer a somewhat flexible, easy to grasp feel, with almost a broken in feel to it, rather nice. The inside is designed with a very soft furry material, with protective leather safeguards for neck and bridge of the guitar, while the exterior has two zippered pockets, one for strings and such, and a larger pocket for a few pedals, a strap. However, if your one of these players who brings and arsenal of pedals and such, this bag wont hold all of your gear. The bag itself is perfect for my most precious instrument, and the basics, strap, strings, a pedal or two, things you might bring to a gig. If you are looking to bring multi processors, along with the works, you will have limitations regarding carry space if thats of interest to you. For my money, this bag is for my precious guitar, the protection it offers is equal to Reunion Blues, the materials are the finest I have seen, and I cant tell you how many people turn around on the street and have a second look at this beautiful bag. This bag was made with such care and quality, there is no reason why this bag shouldn't offer you a lifetimes worth of wear. I love this bag, and will buy the other bags for my other guitars as soon as they become available.
