Overview

Using 99.999% OFC low-strand-count copper conductors, this Lava cable has been designed to provide world-class, sonic performance. Its nostalgic coils bring you back to previous decades when it was hip to be coiled.

Famous American guitarist, Reeves Gabrels says, "it's the best sounding coil cable out there."

Alex Auxier of Orange Amplification says, "Lava's Retro coil cable delivers great sound, and of course looks amazing with an Orange amp, but it offers a utilitarian advantage as well. The coiling makes for no more hassles when bundling and removes the need to worry about getting caught up in messy cords on stage. I'd recommend the Lava Retro coil before any other."

1/4" straight to 1/4" right-angle connections.

Comments about Lava Retro Coil 20 Foot Instrument Cable Straight to Right Angle:

The lead before the coils start are not as long as they seem in the picture. Rubber is dense and hard like plastic, or more so than expected anyway. Seems good.

Comments about Lava Retro Coil 20 Foot Instrument Cable Straight to Right Angle:

The right angled end would not fit into my American Deluxe Tele body. Turn it around so the straight jack would. Now the right angled jack will not fit into my Mesa Express 5:25 unless you force it in. But then you can't turn the knobs. I called Musician's Friend about 35 days after the 45 day return policy thinking they would do me good but they turned me down. I guess rules are rules. My loss. Choose you end jacks carefully.

Cable is GREAT, Silent end is not

    By Tom902

    from Ellinwood, Kansas

Comments about Lava Retro Coil 20 Foot Instrument Cable Straight to Right Angle:

The cable itself is great, no problems with tone, the coils are nice and tight, hangs and works perfectly, with the exception of the 90 degree silent end. This thing will not plug into the guitar or anything else properly and has a tendency to pop out at the worst time. I contacted Guitar Center's customer service and they offered to sell me a new end that was a "screw on" type. I opted not to and contacted Lava directly. Talked to Mark and he offered to send a replacement cord with a standard 90 degree end right out to me! SUPER COMPANY! When I get the replacement cord, I'll say this is a five star item.
