Baritone size is larger than standard for rich lows. Construction is of nato wood for top, back, and sides. Rosewood fingerboard and bridge with die-cast geared tuners and binding on the top.

Lanikai ukuleles have great playability, sound, and aesthetics at a price that will surprise you. The top, back, and sides are nato wood, which is very similar to mahogany. Binding on the top. The bridge and fingerboard are of rosewood.

This ukulele is strung with Aquila Nylgut Strings and includes a Lanikai Learn to Play Instruction Booklet.

  • Even for the beginner

    I bought this Uke because i wanted the depth of a guitar but the size of Uke. It is both beautiful and the sound is rich and true. I highly recommend this well made instrument to anyone looking to make music.

  • Like a little guitar

    Baritone Ukuleles are tuned just like the bottom four strings of a guitar (GDBE), so they are great for beginning guitarists or guitarists switching to ukulele. Amazingly, this laminate uke has a good tone and volume. It is a lot bassier than other size ukuleles, so don't expect that classic ukulele sound. Sounds more like a small guitar. Laminate construction makes this very durable. It's smaller size makes it easier to carry around than a guitar. Buy this and have fun at the beach!

  • Great deal on a Barry Uke!

    I bought this Uke for my son the percussionist. He picked up on the technique right away, and plays it constantly. This is a quality instrument that is easy to play & the sound is much better than you would expect for this price. The tone is and volume is even across the strings. I found no flaws, and my daughter ended up buying one also! The only thing that I would add is a pickup.
