Comments about Laney Ironheart All-Tube 30W 1x12 Guitar Combo:

This amp sounds like a half stack when turn up to about 3! It has an 80 watt speaker and ample tubes which gives it the power. This amp can do metal, jazz, rock, blues by just tweaking a few knobs. Been playing for 20 years and never been happier with an amp! Get it now - you won't regret it!

Great amp with great sound. Has tilt back bar underneath it. Two handles not one in the middle. Did take almost three months to get but we'll worth the wait.

Comments about Laney Ironheart All-Tube 30W 1x12 Guitar Combo:

This is a truly great amp. Rock solid. Very Well built; Really great sound. Overcomes the mix easily on the lead channel with controls just past midway. The conttrols are also very solid, not cheap and flimsy I really like the full metal carry handles at the top on each side - No more flimsy straps that break or wear out. Great amp to gig with cuz if 30 RMS is not enough for you then just direct mike line it out the back directly into a PA System - it's all set up for that and you get direct cab emulation as a result. Now how's that for performance. No wonder why these amps are not so easy to get - the demand for them is very high and they only make so many. Plays best with 1/2 step down tunings and C# instead of dropped D on #6 E string. Won't let this one out of my sight !!!!

Comments about Ironheart All-Tube 30W 1x12 Guitar Combo:

Awesome amp. No regrets. Gets heavy metal tone I was looking for. Very versatile user controls. Built like a tank. Couldn't be happier with my choice of amp. First Laney amp I've owned but am a big believer after owning the IRT-30 now for about 2-months. This amp drives hard and is loud. Sounds great.

Comments about Laney Ironheart All-Tube 30W 1x12 Guitar Combo:

This amp is awesome. It has 3 channels clean, rhythm and lead and each has its' own set of controls. Anyone who thinks this is just a shredders amp is seriously mistaken. This amp is awesome for ANY kind of music. I play mostly rock from the 50's thru the 80's and it rocks. HIGH QUALITY AND WELL BUILT. Great quality tones and sturdy and well engineered.

Blues, Metal, Country and Classic Rock in a box

Comments about Ironheart All-Tube 30W 1x12 Guitar Combo:

Very versatile amp - can pretty much dial in any tone. I needed a small portable gigging amp that had clean/dirty channels, reverb, and boost. I originally purchased a GC special edition Peavey classic 30. I gigged a few shows with that amp, and although it was plenty loud, I was never happy with the sound of the distortion channel - sounded boxy and nasally, even with pedals. I waited for GC to have a 15% holiday sale, and put in an order for this Laney. Loved the sound of the Marshall DSL40C, but the lack of foot switchable options turned me off, so I went with the Laney. Not having seen or touched any due to lack of them in stores, I had to trust the reviews. It arrived earlier than expected and was actually smaller and lighter than expected - which is a good thing. So many features in this amp:
Clean channel: very nice and glassy
Rhythm channel: can dial in a nice slightly overdriven crunch to full metal
Lead channel: great for classic rock or lead
Boost: a great clean boost, or adds more gain to the overdrive channel.
Reverb: nice digital reverb from slight to very airy but not over the top
I have mine set up so that the rhythm channel is a slight overdrive and use the boost to add depth for classic rock. I have the lead channel volume set louder than the rhythm for lead tones.

My current setup is my 2016 Gibson Les Paul Traditional T into a Digitech GSP1101 via the 4CM, and a Voodoo Labs Control Switcher for channel switching of the Laney, and wow! I can get any tone I need with this setup.

Great for practicing in the apartment using the CD input, and dialing down the watts. Take it to practice and gigs with only wattage adjustment needed.
Pros: versatility, size, carry handles, features, sound
Cons: lots of hum on high gain (none with the GSP1101 noise gate on), sounds nasally in the mix - but so many eq options can remedy this. Going to try different tubes and maybe speaker eventually.

Comments about Laney Ironheart All-Tube 30W 1x12 Guitar Combo:

I mainly use this amp at home but will be using live once I get in a band. This can get extremely quiet (obviously some depth in the sound is sacrificed ) but it's quiet enough to practice at night in an apartment with the volume on 2 or so and the watts all the way down. But turning the watts up and not even touching the volume can make it loud enough to gig. I love the amp. I just need to get an overdrive and a gate and I got a metal rig.
