The Laguna LG4's has enhanced articulation, which makes it the ideal performer's guitar. It's able to express a full palate of clear tones that cuts through any musical setting. The Laguna LG4CEBUB Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar has a Grand Orchestra body with a Florentine cutaway. It's equipped with the Fishman Classic 4T preamp with built-in tuner. The darkened bubinga top, back and sides give this Laguna guitar a great look and a warm, mellow sound. It has a mahogany neck, bound body and fingerboard, chrome hardware, and abalone inlayed ring around the sound hole.

Laguna Guitars, reflecting the passionate convictions of musicians, celebrates Earth Day by launching their new "One Guitar, One Tree" reforestation initiative. This plan involves planting one tree for every Laguna guitar made. In addition, Laguna continues to deepen its other practical efforts to reduce waste, recycle and conserve the planet's resources.

For decades, musicians have proudly been socially aware and urged others to take more action, advocacy and awareness in environmental matters. As musicians themselves, those at Laguna have always passionately supported that position, knowing that trees are an economical, long-term solution to many tough environmental problems, including air and water pollution, climate change, wildlife protection, habitat restoration and more. In partnership with AmericanForests.org and their Global ReLeaf campaign, Laguna proudly plants a tree for each Laguna guitar made.

In addition, Laguna's shipping cartons are designed to provide maximum protection with a minimum of material. Their boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard that is also 100% recyclable, which they naturally encourage wherever possible. Also, in the interests of conservation, they have decided not to print glossy, heavyweight catalogs as millions from various companies end up in landfills every year. Instead, Laguna provides extensive information online at their website (www.playlaguna.com) and a catalog will soon be available as downloadable PDFs, allowing users to print only those pages they want.

As with the design and manufacture of their guitars, Laguna welcomes an open dialogue with musicians and encourages them to share their thoughts and ideas on environmental matters including Laguna's "One Guitar, One Tree" initiative and other earth-friendly plans. All such feedback can be directed to environment@playlaguna.com. Please visit PlayLaguna.com or AmericanForests.org for more information on the "One Guitar, One Tree" initiative and Global ReLeaf campaign.

I have owned several A/E guitars and acoustics in my days; and this is the best guitar you will ever find in your life for the price. If you can hang with a non "one piece" wood guitar this is it. Sound is great, would say the best price to performance ratio in the A/E market. The Fishman CL 4 sounds great, and we all know the quality of Fishman. Not to Shabby. Get it its a looker too.

I've played Martins and Taylors, but can honestly say that the LG4 ranks with them. (I've owned mine since April 09.)The sound is incredible, and perfect for singing to. The Fishman sound system (used mainly in Taylor guitars) provides great sound in an amp, as well as easy-to-adjust controls and an extremely accurate tuner. (The guitar stays in tune for an incredibly long time!) The design (abalone inlay, bubinga body, and mahogany neck) looks awesome, and increases the sound quality. By far the best regularly-priced guitar I've ever seen sold!

So many acoustic guitars have a bright sound to them. That is fine if you're Clapton or James Taylor, but I wanted something that would work well as a background instrument. The soft, warm tone of this guitar fits the bill perfectly. It adds texture and atmosphere without sticking out in the mix. I haven't tried it through an amp, but I don't think it sounds as good through a direct box. Still, in the studio with a Shure pointed at it, or strumming in a small room, you won't be disappointed. I've had it for 6 months (been playing for 8 years), and I love every note it gives me.

WOW! This guitar is by far one of the best looking guitars i have seen. I spent about 2 hours looking around the store for the perfect guitar. I didnt care about the price, but wanted something that was going to call me. This guitar was one of the last ones that i tried out and i fell in love with it. It sounds awsome when it is played as acustic, but when you hook up the amp its amazing. I cant put it down. I would recommend this guitar to anyone looking to get hooked on guitar. This is my first AEG but it so good that it going to replace my accustic. I have had no problems with this guitar and dont plan to.

I got this guitar 6 months ago, and all I can say is this: Awesome!. The built in tuner is more helpful than you think. The guitar looks amazing, and plays well. too. The only thing I don't like about it is the inlays (boring). It's very durable, too. It was my first guitar, and now I have three others: this guitar is top of the line. Its sounds is just amazing. it stays in tune long too. It's smaller than most, which is perfect, except that it is a little too quiet...but the sound is worth it! Get this guitar!

Well rounded Guitar

from Kingston. MA

I purchased this guitar a few days ago. I am a drummer but wanted to expand my horizons, so I was looking for a "do it all" instrument for a reasonable price. I played many types from Yamaha, to Ibanez, to Breedlove. Though not as full sounding as a full bodied guitar or the Breedlove, it still has great tones and smooth very playable neck and a little more reasonably priced. I will definitely enjoy learning more and more on this guitar. I am thrilled with my purchase

Completely Satisfied

By Papa G

The LG4CEBUB is one the best AEG that I have ever put my fingers on. I've played Martins, Taylors, and many others. I bought the Laguna 4-5 months ago and have recorded many times with it and the results have not disappointed. I've loaned it out to some of my musical buddies and they love it as well. For the price you won't find a better deal. Try it and be prepared to experience total pleasure..
