I used to be an ibanez player. Never was completely satisfied. I have had my eye on one of these for a while. I finally bought one and I am impressed. The bridge stays in tune, Imight replace with an offical floyd rose, but thats the best part you don't have too. The pickups are great, they have a seymor duncan sound. The coil taping actually works and you can really hear the difference. Neck is fast and comfortable. I was a little nerveous because the brand name was unknown, but wow what a great guitar. Great guitar for the price.

Comments about Laguna LE400Q Electric Guitar:

I bought the Blue quilted maple top with rosewood fretboard, maple neck and black hardware.
Great features for the price
Very good workmanship and beautiful finish
Incredible value. I purchased mine (new) on "Deal of the Day) for $99.00. I can not believe the quality of this guitar. It is well worth the full price. I just don't know how I was lucky to get it for that price

Solid Guitar

By Willis Jedynak

from California

Comments about Laguna LE400Q Electric Guitar:

I give this guitar an 8 out of 10 because it is over all a solid guitar. Light, playable, and great as a beginner and intermediate players. The only real problem in my opinion is the tuning locks. The tuning locks bug me when I play because if not tightened correctly, the guitar will actually get more out of tune then a regular guitar. Then, if the guitar gets out of tune it's a pain to retune. I originally bought this guitar a couple years ago to avoid having to tune the guitar too often, unless you know what you are doing when you tune a guitar this is going to be a very, hard to use guitar. Also the floating bridge is a pain. The bridge, if not set up, can actually lift up at an angle which messes up tuning, whammy, and other important parts related to the bridge. As long as you set up the guitar, you should be fine with that problem though. The guitar has great playability. Easy to move up and down the neck, the coil tap is nice, easy to whammy and stay in tune (if you know how to use the tuning locks). If/when you decide to buy this guitar, I urge you to do two things, ask how to use the tuning locks and how to replace the strings on the guitar. The first time I re-strung the guitar I actually accidently popped out the bridge, I had to get the guitar re setup. And ask where you can get the guitar set up, if this guitar is not set up you WILL NOT be satisfied with this guitar. Overall once again, a great guitar, there are a few problems that you will be able to overcome. It has great features, great finishes, blue and red. Easy to play faster lead stuff, easy to bend, easy to play simple and complicated chords. Sound quality is great, nice tone. Overall just a solid guitar worthy of the price.

No regrets

By Sam Verdusco

from Prineville OR

Comments about Laguna LE400Q Electric Guitar:

I have had this guitar for about four months now and am loving it. i've gone through some highs and lows messing around with it. At first when it came the action was REALLY low and it had to work on that because it buzzed even in Standard tuning. If you like to drop tune(which I do occasionally) you might want to consider using thicker strings; light strings seem to buzz when you hit drop C.The pickups are fun to mess around with. The 3-way blade coil tap has a range of sounds u can utilize even if it only has one tone knob. I work out of a Digitech RP 250 and the clean and distortion goes from soft and muffled to loud and edgy with on tap of the foot and a flip of a switch. The neck isn't like glass but is slick enough to get those guitar solos u want to copy from Bullet for my Valentine. The only thing that bugs me(and I should've expected it) is that when I got the guitar after about two days I noticed the finish was pretty clouded up and it wasn't as shiny or distinguished as I had seen it in the pics but it still looks hot under the main light. I use this guitar every week and it has never failed to blow my friends minds. The tuning locks only help to my the sound better. This guitar is easy to work out of even if u just have a distortion pedal and a $50 amp. But it works for on stage shredding as well. This guitar is worth the investment even if u have to work on it a little. And watch the trem if u try to tune too high the strings will pull the trem up into the air. The best way to fix this is to put the extra spring in the trem hold first thing but other than the little things, this guitar will amaze u if you work it right.

This Guitar is the Absolute Best

By Wing Wang Kazang

from Kill Devil Hills, NC

Comments about Laguna LE400Q Electric Guitar:

I purchased this guitar for my own personal instrument (one that was not borrowed from friends, family, etc.). When it arrived, I nearly danced out of joy that at the fact that it played like nothing I've ever experienced. The strings bend easily and has a beautiful tone to it. Definatly worth the price!

Awesome Guitar

By Hugo Miranda

from California

Comments about Laguna LE400Q Electric Guitar:

i know that laguna is not very old, it's a new brand, but this guitar owns every guitar in its price range, i was playing this guitar at guitar center today, and man it was a dream, my fingers moved really fast XD. the tremolo is amazing, the neck is kinda different, but once you get used to it nothing will stop you from shredding. i am definetely getting one of these.

LAGUNA IS TOO UNDERRATED!!!

By Mark Philpott

from Houma, LA

Comments about Laguna LE400Q Electric Guitar:

I'm no pro, but I have been playing guitar and bass for 15 years or so, and these Laguna guitars are just the best. I used to own the LE322 HSS, & now have this model, and I love it! The only thing I have noticed as a downside is that if you want to play down tuned a lot (D or lower), you may have trouble keeping the guitar in tune after a few songs. I run through a $500 B-52 half stack with a Ibanez TS-9DX and a Metal Muff. The LE 400Q factory humbuckers have a nice growl when you play it with just the Tube Screamer. It sounds good clean too, as long as you have a decent clean channel on your amp. This is the biggest bang for your buck when it comes to guitars ... You obviously can't beat a $400 price tag!
