LAGUNA GUITARS LAUNCHES "ONE GUITAR, ONE TREE" REFORESTATION INITIATIVE

Laguna Guitars, reflecting the passionate convictions of musicians, celebrates Earth Day by launching their new "One Guitar, One Tree" reforestation initiative. This plan involves planting one tree for every Laguna guitar made. In addition, Laguna continues to deepen its other practical efforts to reduce waste, recycle and conserve the planet's resources.

For decades, musicians have proudly been socially aware and urged others to take more action, advocacy and awareness in environmental matters. As musicians themselves, those at Laguna have always passionately supported that position, knowing that trees are an economical, long-term solution to many tough environmental problems, including air and water pollution, climate change, wildlife protection, habitat restoration and more. In partnership with AmericanForests.org and their Global Relief campaign, Laguna proudly plants a tree for each Laguna guitar made.

In addition, Laguna's shipping cartons are designed to provide maximum protection with a minimum of material. Their boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard that is also 100% recyclable, which they naturally encourage wherever possible. Also, in the interests of conservation, they have decided not to print glossy, heavyweight catalogs as millions from various companies end up in landfills every year. Instead, Laguna provides extensive information online at their website (www.playlaguna.com) and a catalog will soon be available as downloadable PDF's, allowing users to print only those pages they want.

As with the design and manufacture of their guitars, Laguna welcomes an open dialogue with musicians and encourages them to share their thoughts and ideas on environmental matters including Laguna's "One Guitar, One Tree" initiative and other earth-friendly plans. All such feedback can be directed to environment@playlaguna.com. Please visit PlayLaguna.com or AmericanForests.org for more information on the "One Guitar, One Tree" initiative and Global Relief campaign.

NEW REVIEW - Epic.

This guitar has a great feel to it. The neck is extremely comfortable. I play it through a Line 6 and it sounds very good, especially when set to the "Metal" tone on the Line 6 amp. The color scheme is brilliant as well, as it's nothing too dull, but it's not over the top, either. On top of it all, it's a very affordable guitar.

Great Guitar

Pros: Great Guitar, fast Neck and Fretboard. Pickups sound great. Never heard of the brand but fell in love playing it at the store and couldn't pass it up. Great sound on Distortion as well as Clean. Nearly sounds like an acoustic sometimes. Doesn't fall behind when it gets dirty either. Sounds amazing for Hard Rock like ACDC and Gones N' Roses style music. Highly Recommend.... Cons: None that really come to mind. Sometimes when palm muting the bridge can be moved from the pressure of your hand and it kinda gives it that "Wammy" sound when you don't want it to. But its very easy to avoid. Overall a great guitar....

Awesome guitar for the money!

This has got to be one of the best guitars at this price available right now. It's just like the Brawley guitars that were available a few years ago. The neck is super fast and smooth as silk. The pictures on-line don't do this guitar justice. It's just beautiful. The hardware is top notch as well. I love the locking tuners and roller string trees. This guitar says in tune perfectly. My only "complaint" is that I don't seem to hear any difference in sound while using the push/pull tone control. Otherwise the guitar is almost perfect. I would highly reccommend giving this guitar a try!

Versatile Geet

I really like this axe. I was playing several geets at Guitar Center then picked this one up. Was playing it thru a Marshall and was very impressed with the wide range of sounds that I was able to get. Great tone and feel. Really liked the neck. Feels like it can stand up to a little abuse. I have 34 years experience playing and wouldn't hesitate recommending it, or using this axe as a work horse. Check it out!

Buy this guitar!!!

If your on a budget and want a really great guitar by this one.The neck is smooth and doesnt have any dead notes like most other guitars. The pickups are just sexy. The clean sounds almost like an acoustic.and on distorion it just screams with harmonics. It's so rare to find a wilkinson on a guitar in this price range. only downside, if you decide to use 10's make sure to adjust the screws i n back the guitar or just add another spring!
