Sounds almost as good as my "Paul"

I purcahsed this pickup for a very old and I would say junky, no name Japanese guitar that someone had given me a long time ago. The only thing I did was rout out the body to set in the pickup. I soldered it in put the thing back together and WOW! Really, this thing sounds almost as good as my "68"Les Paul Custom. It dosen"t play the same (it's not a Paul) but the sound is awsome to say the least. If you are looking to upgrade the sound of your guitar this thing is worth every penny and then some.

Great Bang for the Buck

I installed this in a Squier Strat at the Bridge position. The pickup sound great, better than the Humbucker in my Mexican Fat Strat. The stock pickups in the squier are so poor that this pickup was not a good fit all by itself. I am considering removing it and installing it my MIM Strat, however, I believe this pickup is best suited for a duel humbucker set up as opposed to a S/S/H setup. Just my opinin. I am an intermediate guitar player and I do not know how this pickup sounds compared to high end pickups, but, it does sound better than the stock humbucker in the MIM Strat.

Clear and Articulate

Several months ago I bought a used Epiphone Les Paul Custom as a second guitar. The guitar had a Seymour Duncan Invader pickup in the bridge position that did not suit my needs, or tastes. I was about 30% louder than the stock pickup in the neck position, and I could not set my amp so that I could get a good tone out of either pup. It was one or the other. On the advice of a bandmate I bought a Powered By Lace to replace the Invader. My other guitar is an old Stratocaster with Lace pups, and it sounds great. The Powered By Lace is a much better choice for me. Its clean tone is smooth and clear, and when I dirty it up it has a great response. In MHO it is a very versital pup and worth 3 times what I paid for it. If I had to do it all over again I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

Love those Lace Humbuckers

This pick up is amazing. The wiring is simple, the sound is FABULOUS and it looks pretty good too. What else can I possibly say. I LOVE IT !!!!!
