  • Hemi Heaven in a Turser LP

    Beautifully made. I have a set in my cheap-o Jay Turser Goldtop. This is a beautifully made and wonderful sounding set. Can sound like alnico 5s or the heavy ceramics depending on how you use it. Super SUPER responsive to pick attack and volume knob rolls. Hot enough to goose my Blues Deluxe but they will soften up to give forth the bell tones of a Gibby 490, with a simple volume reduction. Infinite harmonic sustain. With my SS Roland Blues Cube these guys are every bit as complex as with the Fender. Best pickups I have ever played. Others I have tried: SDs, Bill Lawrence, Gibbys, GFS, Schaller Golden 50s. These smoke the others. Bite like ceramics and purr like alnico IIs. Unbelievable flexibility from a single humbucker. Worth every penny-and then some!
