LP Jam Blocks are the modern versions of the age-old wood blocks that were fragile and could not stand up to the rigors of aggressive touring. Crafted from LP's exclusive plastic formulation, Jam Blocks have the rich tone of wood blocks and the strength and durability to withstand even the hardest-hitting players. Each Jam Block comes with a heavy-duty mounting bracket and LP's famous eye-bolt assembly for easy mounting to any 3/8" diameter rod. Choose high pitch (blue) or low pitch (red).

I own the low pitch, the high pitch and the other jam block they sell which is higher pitched then the high pitched one, and i use them for a lot of things! they cut through a multitude of things and they just sound great! I wasn't sure when I was getting them to even get them but they really served a purpose in my drum set get them!!!
This thing is great. You can WAIL on this thing, and nothing happens to it. It's more durable than drumheads! It also has a nice piercing sound to it. I have the low pitch.
This is a great jam block. It's a very very durable thing and makes a great sound. You can hit it like as hard as you can and it doesn't show ANY damage. And even better, Joey Castillo from QOTSA has one!
Dont think that you can only use this in latin music. Because the sound you get can be used in JUST ABOUT ANYTHING. It is also nice and durable so u can throw this thing around a bit (not that you should.)They're not that expensive so why dont you have one yet?
I thought it was kind of funny buying a plastic wood block but this thing works great. Sounds just like a wood block, and is much more durable. You can wail on this thing, and no dents appear in the product. The included bracket also works well, but you will need some sort of adapter for it to work, because it will not fit on most snare/cymbal stands.
I have had my Jam Block for a few months now. I really like it when I can apply it. Sometimes I substitute it for a rim click, use it for fills, or alternate between it and my snare. It is a handy percussion piece to have. Quite a few different sounds can be achieved depending on how and where it is hit. It can be pretty loud when struck firmly. For the price, it is worth trying. I highly recommend it.
If you are looking for the best wood-sounding accessory, get this product. It is a great addition to any drumkit. I use mine often while playing and adds a lot of originality into my music. It is a great product to use if you are not a big fan of the cowbell. This block is completely different and is very durable. I have had mine for almost a year and still looks and sounds like new.
I just love adding new sounds to my set up, and this item is no exception! It brings something new to my kit and lets me expand as I see fit! It has a great sound and you can choose high or low pitch, depending on your preference. It's really an item that you have to hear to believe. So go to your nearest GC and check it out!
