LP M257B Matador Brass Shell Timbales offer traditional sound and excellent value for intermediate timbalistos. Use this timbale set by itself or add it to your drum set.
The 14" and 15" diameter brass timbale shells are 6-1/2" deep and tune traditionally with a tuning wrench. LP includes a heavy-duty chrome tilting height-adjustable stand along with a Matador cowbell, cowbell holder, a tuning wrench, and a pair of timbale sticks.
Heads - no warranty or guarantee.
Natural wood products - no warranty.
Bags and cases - 90 day warranty.
RhythMix - one year warranty, with the exception of heads.
LP wood or fiberglass shells, timbale shells, stands and hardware, hardware (rims, etc.) - 3 year warranty.
All other products - one year warranty.

These Timbales have held up for me for many years. They have nice tonal qualities and the heads took a real beating for me for years without being replaced. I really wailed on these things for years without 1 problem. The stand is very solid too. I can not comment on the Cowbell though, I believe I lost it quickly and replaced it with a set of 3 cowbells. Also these look very very nice, of course that is always a plus. I am no pro timbale player though, but I have been playing percussion for a while, and I know what tonal qualities I like from any sort of drum. These sound good to me. I can not compare them to other timbales though, I have only played 2 different sets.
