The LP Soft Shake is the softest-sounding shaker LP makes. Soft Shake is perfect for recording or when a delicate sound is needed. This set of 2 small plastic shakers is connected by 2 rubber straps. Simply remove the straps and you have 2 individual shakers.

These shakers will not disappoint you. First and foremost they are what the name says, soft. However you can play them harder and get a very precise, somewhat hard, sound from them. But one of the most underrated sounds from a shaker is to get a nice shaker sound without the ?click? of the material hitting the shell. You can achieve this and many other sounds from these LP shakers. I would recommend buying these to anyone. The absolute best shake sound I?ve ever heard is this soft LP shaker combined with an ?egg? shake. Try it; you won?t believe it!
These things are so cool! Yes, they do have a soft sound, but thats why they are amazing! The sound is so precise and so unique. I have used these in every form of music from Indie Rock to Jazz and you can hear these settle in with the music. They are not meant to be the forefront of the beat... Compare it to a Jelly Doughnut: The music is the whole doughnut, and on the outside looks and sounds great....but the party is on the inside. These shakers are that party-filled cream of the inside of a doughnut. And yes, play them with an egg....it gives the egg a great undertone! These define hand shakers for me.
