The 11" quinto, 11-3/4" conga, and 12-1/2" tumba all stand 30" tall, with 2-ply Siam oak shells. Features original LP Comfort Curve rims, 5/16" diameter tuning hooks, carrying handles, and Pro Care integrated shell protector.

I recently purchased the lp classic II conga set and I could not be more excited. I have played percussion for 15 years and played lp classic congas for the last ten, w hen finally deciding to retire the old set within the last couple of months. I definitely wasn't looking forward to replacing the drums that I love ,and made my living off of the past ten years, Until the first time I played them on stage. There tone is perfect the highs are sharp but not ear piercing and the lows are thick but far from flabby. The construction is solid and road worthy and dont even get me started on just how incredible these drums look on stage. These hot little babies will definitly be passed down to the grand kids.
I bought these to learn how to play, and couldn't be happier. The sound is great, and they are built well. I would like to move up to LP Palladium Series down the road, but have no complaints with these. I have them in the beautiful wood finish, which makes them look like I paid 3x the price. I do not have a lot of experience, but for a beginner, I recommend them.
I've played drumsets for 40 years. While shopping for congas for my home studio, I came upon these lp classic II's on the internet. When I walked into the G.C. in New Orleans and played them, my search was over. I bought them on the spot. The tones are great, the construction is rugged, and the value and price for this professional set of congas can't be beat. They really do sound fabulous in my home studio next to my Gretsch rosewood drumset. And to top it off, their beautiful finish matches my drumset perfectly. I would strongly recommend these drums to everyone.
