I havent used the pearl one yet but ill exchange it for this one, DO NOT BUY THIS. not only is it more expensive but the quality sucks, the L shaped rod is held buy a low quality screw and when the tamborine or cowbell is kicked (with moderate power) repeteadly the L rod slips down and screws up your groove. just by looking at the picture of the pearl foot bracket one can see that its design prevents this kind of accident. This models design is crap.
