This LP conga set includes 3 of LP's most popular Performer Series hand drums: the 11" quinto, 11-3/4" conga, a 12-1/2" tumba and a free set of bongos. Features include Siam oak shells for warm, resonant open tones and sharp slap tones; EZ-Curve rims for hand comfort and tucked heads for a classic tone. The exterior drum shell design and steel bottoms provide extra durability and stability. Drum stands not included.
Crafted from Siam oak, the bongo drums sing in the upper-mid frequencies with full open tones and crackle with high-pitched slaps. EZ-Curve rims and tucked heads also come standard. An excellent and affordable choice for beginning and intermediate players. Drumhead sizes are 6-3/4" and 8".

This is a great set to have, is the next step in wooden congas after Aspire, in beetween Matador and Classic, such a good deal for the price range, nicely finished, confort curve hardware and everything, LP did a great job with this Performer series so if you are looking for a good deal, good sound in a nice looking set of latin percussion....don't miss'em..!!!
these congas have a beautiful nice warm sound while the bongos have a bright sound to them.....they stay tuned pretty good..............[if only they came with a stand]
This set is each great quality percussion instruments. The three congas are so touch sensitive you barely have to touch them to get them singing like angels. Nice drums. The bongos aren't quite the quality as the congas, but nevertheless, are good enough quality that with careful tuning, will put out a popping rhythm. Overall, the cost/quality if this five piece set is superb; and all in a matching paint job too.
