    used on 5 string Pedulla bass in particular for several nights a week over a year and still going great. Since I play guitar and acoustic also it works great on all. I don't have to worry about a dropped bass/guitar if a friend comes in buzzed on a night off :-) Florida humidity and salt air are rough on metal finishes so I like the black plastic. I was concerned at first about the plastic holding up but no problems at all. Also I wear my axes high so I like that it is short enough. Just ordered 3 more today. Would like to see 3" wide and padded options too ;-) TK
