Great idea!

By CALVIN

from Charleston S.C.

The short cut is a great idea. I have found this capo does not do well on some of my guitars. Guitars with med. jumbo frets, the capo has a tendency to sharpen pitch. With smaller fret wire guitars, oh what fun! Would like to see an adjustable pressure short cut. After using this capo, I am going to try and modify a different capo to do the short cut. Great product.

Easy to use, but limited

By Bill Schweizer

from Canton, OH

What makes Kyser capos so popular is their ease of use. No other capo clamps on more easily or consistently. The Short Cut opens up the fret board for great new open chord sounds. The only limitation on this capo is that it is difficult to position and hold on higher frets. The Shubb is a better choice for the higher frets and playing below the capo.

Great capo

By Dan

from Keller, TX

If you like Kyser capos, you'll like this one. It creats a DADGAD tuning only in E so I supposes it is actually EBEABE. Great open sound. Use your standard capo with it to play in different keys. Keeps you from having to retune or use two guitars. Watch the Kyser video.

It's one of a kind!!!

By NJB

from Osceola, IN.

I would have to say that it's been a great capo. It's now an easy way to capo those three strings without trying to twist other capos around backwards to see if you can make that sound. IT'S A GREAT BUY... I'LL NEVER REGRET IT... BUY IT, USE IT, LIKE IT... IT'S AN AMAZING TOOL!!!

Really Fun!!!

By Kyle Allen

from Dayton, Texas

Wow! I got this capo online and didn't quite know what it was used for. I am good friends with the guy who invented it so he taught me how to use it. I was impressed. It makes riffs and proggresion much easier. It is a lot of fun messing around with it and all of the riffs you never thought you could play.

Awesome and fun

By ahk114007

This capo will take your guitar playing to another level. It allows mock alternate tunings and allows you to develop new chord formats. I have found it most useful for acoustic, allowing me to play lead riffs while still strumming the basic chord.

Great Capo

By Full Sail Grad

from Winter Park, FL

The Kyser 3-String Capo is simple and easy to use. It takes no time or effort to apply and remove the capo. It also allows you to experiment with many different keys and such. It presses all the strings equally and does not leave you guitar having that annoying buzz that many other capos have. It has also doubled as a drop D capo for me, granted if you are only strumming the first 4 strings. After a few months of use I see know signs of where and no marks left on my guitar neck. Buy it today and take your music to the next level.
