Cheap and simple

By Then

from Phoenix, AZ

I could not believe that there is a capo at this price when I first saw it. I was skeptical and was expecting a lemon when I ordered it. It was not until I actually used it that I began to marvel at its simplicity. It works great and for that price, it is simply amazing.

Great

By JM

I was ordering some other stuff and saw this little capo for $4 and thought I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did. It's a great little capo, I prefer it to my dad's Schubb. BUY IT.

Save your money

By SpacemanSpiff

from Akron, OH

I bought this for my son that was just learning to play. Saving a few bucks here was not a good decision. It's incredibly inconvenient to keep unscrewing, fumbling, re-screwing every time you need to move it. It's quite awkward to use. The strings also buzz pretty badly no matter how tight or where you have it positioned. Spend the extra $$ and buy a Shubb. I'm buying him one now as he won't give mine back. :p

great capo

By Arcadia

from lowell, ma

works just as great as the day i bought it... ive had this capo ever since i started playing the guitar in 2002 and now its 2009 and still does its job. it takes a little more time just to screw/ unscrew the capo but stays snug and secure on the guitar. the rubber material is soft yet strong so you dont have to worry about leaving marks on your guitar. it does its job just like any other capo but for less money. overall its a good buy

Meh

By Mediocre Guitarist

from La Jolla, CA

This thing does its job, and pretty well at that. It's pretty straight forward design; clamp it between over the neck and tighten the screw. But there lies a problem (at least to me). As you screw down, the screw itself hits the metal part of the capo in order for the bottom to grip the back of the neck. So in doing so, it starts to wear away the paint, and then making some indents in the metal. But I doubt it's too serious. I just used a hot glue gun and dabbed a bit in the crevice, so there's some padding for the screw to chafe against. 4 stars because of this little inconvenience. Would've been a 3 if it hadn't been for this price.
