    It was recommended to me that my old Martin needed some humidity by my luthier and he really likes the kyser lifeguard. It completely seals off the soundhole from outside conditions and the internal sponge either releases humidity into the guitar with the small amount of water in it or if used dry it will trap moisture in a humid atmosphere. Really a no-brainer! Used from Labor Day to Memorial Day with a little water in it to protect against the dry midwest winters. Take it out when you play, put it back in when you're done, it's as simple as that.

  • What an investment to protect your acoustic guitar

    I brought this humidifier for my Seagull guitar. It takes a bit to get used in how to install in the sound hole. When I forgot to install the humidifier into the sound hole for a couple of days. I notice that my guitar started to buzz on the frets. So, I changed the strings and that didn't work. I took my guitar to the luthier and he told that it needed to be humidified for two weeks. After two weeks with this humidifier and a extra damp sponge in a ziploc bag with puncture holes in the bag. It worked and the guitar sounds just like new. I would recommend this humidifier to anyone.

  • Don't Buy This! It'll ruin your guitar!

    I bought this just recently for the dry winter here in MN and it does not work right.. When it covers the sound hole it caused the sitka spruce top on my Breedlove to bulge! Same thing with a cheaper guitar I tried it in later. Im to scared to put it back in my guitar,. Don't put it in yours.
