The Kustom Profile Two PA Speaker System is the big brother of the popular Profile System One, with increased power and more inputs. The Profile Two is built around a 5-channel powered mixer, which pumps out 300W, with 150W per channel stereo. The 8-band master EQ lets you shape the sound, and dial in lows precisely with sub frequency/subwoofer controls. Each channel also has 2-band (bass and treble) EQ controls. The 5 mixer channels all have balanced XLR and 1/4" combo inputs, with stereo inputs on channel 5.
All channels on the Kustom Profile Two feature monitor volume controls and stereo panning controls. An additional discrete AUX channel has stereo mic and line (1/8") inputs. A 24-bit digital processor delivers 16 effects, including Double Take Vocal, a vocal doubler that gives any singer's performance a bigger, richer sound. An effects loop allows insertion of external effects units. Each Kustom speaker cab, made larger for enhanced projection and performance, features 2 heavy-duty 8" speakers, plus a neodymium compression driver with 1" exit.

Like the system a lot. Sounds great and easy to set up. Effects are awesome. The price made it a really great deal. It packs up really nicely into the bags. The trouble is with the bags. Zippers on the big roller bag and the bag for the mixer were broken when they arrived and will not zip all the way closed without the zipper coming off track. Called GC and since they sell it as a set -- I would have had to return the whole system just to get the bags replaced. Needed them for a gig so I called the MFG. I'm still waiting to hear from Kustom to see if they can send replacements.
This p.a was good for practicing with two mics for a while but after about a year it couldnt handle it. it would cut out and wouldnt work again until the next practice where it would do the same thing.
This PA system worked beautifully right out of the box. It handled the audio from my karaoke machine as well as the live vocals. Even when some "performers" got carried away, the speakers took it all in stride. The treble and bass control on each channel allows for adusting vocals while the 8-band master eq keeps the overall nicely balanced. When all inputs are "quiet" the effects (which work great for vocals) can be a bit noisey until you learn how to tweak them just right, or you can kill the effects with the press of a button, until you're ready to use it again. Having independant master and monitor controls are great. You can even use the record out as an additional monitoring source. I wanted an easy, down and dirty PA system, and got a compact live performance workhorse instead.
I have used the Kustom Profile Two system for my smaller gigs. It has great sound for the size. The versatility of the XLR/1/4 inch mic plug-ins is a step above the little brother Kustom Profile One system (which I also own). I use this system for DJ filler music when I'm performing vocally and also when I'm hosting karaoke for private parties. If you're looking for a great sound at an even greater price, the Kustom Profile Two system is the perfect system for you!
Over the summer, my keyboard amp died halfway through practice. Thinking quickly, I ran my two keyboards into this PA which we were already using for our vocalist. one word: WWWOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!!!! I was amazed at what great sound quality I was getting. I didnt have to fight our vocalist, both the keyboards and the mic came out fine. The FX worked wonders too. I'm going to need a PA for my home studio soon, and I am definetely putting this on the top of the list for consideration. I highly reccomend this for anyone looking for a small PA or backup keyboard amp, or if you need to play a small room.
The Profile 2 is a great "right size" system. Crisp enough for small venues but big enough when you need it, up to 100 guests. I use it for background fill at the reception and as my main source when doing video shows and smaller DJ events.
