This Kustom mixer rocks not only for filling your practice room with heavy sound, but its perfect for live shows as well. i have two kustom 15'' speakers hooked up to this mixer and its perfect for rocking the night away.
Used primarily for amplification for a small set up. Importing words and music from computor and CD/Tape player through playback plus mikes used by singer through lines 1-7. At the same time I record to tape and vidio recorder through the record output. After 2 months of use the record no longer recorded what was played through playback [ CD/ Computor] yet still recorded what came through the 1-7 lines [singers only]. I got no help from the manufacturer , I was told I couldn't record anything played through playback even though I had done so for 2 months before it stopped recording. The only reason I bought the KPM7250 was that I had been able to record on my Kustom Profile System for a number of years without any difficulty as far as the recording was concerned.
I bought this amp/mixer combo for a pair of small 10" gemini speakers I use for school plays at my local elementary school. I use a 20 channel mixer on the side of this and input two XLR into channels 1 and 2 on the built in mixer so that works for me and so does the built in amp...to a point. About 2 months ago I was helping out at this elementary school and I had decided to input the keyboard that was being played into the mix when all of a sudden the system just shut down, the amp overheated within 5 minutes of turning it on. One main thing that should be changed on this product is the size, I think it should house a larger mixer and have proper cooling, maybe even a fan, on the inside for the amp. Over all this is a good product and I would recomend it for indoor venues as it does do well in large or outdoor environments.
