Beautiful speakers that wont break the bank

By Chuck

from Ft Myers Florida

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet Pair:

I hooked these up outdoors with a tapco juice and you could hear them well over 10 blocks away, power is no issue for this price, no grumbling or rattling, the highs mids and lows are all clear and clean, they are built tough enough to toss into the back of a van without thinking twice and seriously...its the best punch your gonna get for that price

Worked great

By Adrian

from Escondido

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet Pair:

A lot of speaker for the price. I did a wedding for 150 people and they worked great at 450 watts per speaker. The two 15" woofers provide a sub like sound and the horn completes them for an overall good sound.

I recommend Upgrading

By Mike

from San Diego

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet Pair:

I bought these for our live show every Sat. One of the cabinets stopped working after about 10 hours of use. We replaced both speakers and they worked again. Now a couple weeks later, the second cabinet stopped working in the middle of a gig. Don't try to save a couple hundred $$. Just buy the JBL or Yamaha cabinets.

Awsome Speakers

By Chris C.

from Binghamton , New York

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet Pair:

I bought these speakers recently and used them at my gig last night they performed awesome. The bass response was unbelievable for the price. I miked the drums, bass, my guitar and vocals. It will more than likely take a few gigs to really get a hold of these speakers but for what I need them to do they were more than enough. They sounded great. For the first time my band actually sounded very full. We are a 3 peace band and we play anything from runaround sue to man in a box. They do weigh 90 lbs. each though very heavy 3/4 inch press wood more than likely but for two 15's and a horn I guess that's pretty good. The amp I use is a Samson 1200 watt 600 watts a side stereo. To sum it all up for the price these are the best speakers you will find buy them and try them for your self.

A must buy for DJ's or Bands.

By mike burkhart

from Charlotte County, Florida

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet Pair:

Im 15 and I have been a DJ for a while now and I have alto professionals for my mobile djing. Not enough bass though. So I stepped up and bought these. They sound incredible I have been a dj for school dances, birthdays, weddings, and I cant turn them up all the way they are so loud. Easily can fill a room full of 200+ people. These bass pumping bad boys get so many complement's. They can take a beating to weather you are inside or outside if you are a DJ or in a Band these are a must! Also when people complain about being too heavy don't. More of Dj,s would understand this is a normal weight and size for these type of speakers. And I would recommend to buy an amp off ebay. Here is a 4500 watt amp. No problem's yet!

BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK NO DOUBT

By Scott Velain

from Carrollton Ohio

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet Pair:

I bought these speakers from Guitar Center after buying a lesser set from a lesser company (that I wonۡt name but should). The first set from another company kept blowing like popcorn. So I stepped up and purchased these Kustoms. What a difference! I play every weekend outside at a cruise in. Even in 90% weather these cabs pump it out. Volume is no problem, Iۡm running a Crown amp that puts out 300 watts per side and I canۡt even get it up over a third of the way its so loud (and yes thatۡs outside). Very well built, great sound, Iۡve had them for a couple of months and again this is a regular every weekend outside gig, and even in the blazing sun they kick it out. Great bass, great highs and mid range. I canۡt say enough about these cabs. BUY THEM! You wonۡt be sorry.

Durable, great sound

By Heather Levine

from Detroit, MI

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet Pair:

I bought a pair of these used from a music school that was closing :(. Paired up with a Europower powered mixer, these speakers were probably used for at least 12 hours a week by newbies and experienced musicians alike for at least 6 months that I know of and probably for longer than that. They sound great whether with a band or, in my case now, for computer/recorded music and a guitar synth. It's surprising how little sound quality you lose at lower volumes too. I'm a gear-hound and was originally planning to buy a JBL/Mackie setup but this setup works great and paying 1/4 the price, even if new, is definitely a huge plus. Durability: excellent Sound: great Volume: Better be on good terms with your neighbors Portability: Oh, my achin' back...two people per cab definitely Value: Through the roof.

A Note to Trash Talkers

By Kei Yuuki

from Osaka Japan

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet Pair:

So many trash talk these speakers, and so do many Sales people. I will give factual information to squash these uninformed people. Kustom exclusively uses Eminence Beta 15A's in this enclosure. It has a Linkwitz Riley Crossover network with Double fused tweeter protection, the SAME as in the Peavey competitor. All speakers need some sort of Equalization to make them run optimally. Eminence Rates their Beta 15A at 600 watts Program, not peak. Running two in parallel, this cabinet maxes out at 1200 watts. I verified this by running a BBE Sonic Sonic Maximizer (software version) into a Peavey PV 8.5C bridged to 1100 watts and drove it until the DDT lights flickered with Bass heavy music, and it held up just fine. Bass could be felt in the Concrete slab 30' away easily. The highs were clear and bright all the way to its limit. Guitar Center is going to stop selling the KSE215H's in their stores in December 2013, so get them while you can. Once you pass the 150 watt mark, these cabs come alive. Once you pass the 700watt mark, they become insanely loud. Be sure to have plenty of Amplifier. Distortion will kill ANY speaker, no matter what the cost, especially tweeters, as my former friend did all the time running a 400 watt (200x2) amp on a set of Peavey 3020HTs which run 800watts without even breaking a sweat and was blowing HT95's constantly. That was greatly reduced when he doubled his power to 400x2. Long story short, Don't judge a book by its cover, and don't judge speakers by their cover, as they could be running much higher end parts then you realize.

they ROCK!!

By Creative..

from Michiagn

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet Pair:

I got these about a month ago..have DJ`ed a few gigs with them since, and they rock..I`m running them with a Behringer EP4000.. the corners are weak..Very weak..so plan on replacing with some upgrades, but still, you get a really good deal for the money... Just to add...the speakers you get through guitar center, actually say "KSE", NOT "KPC" on them..I contacted Kustom, and they said there are the same speakers..just diferant lettering.. only 4 not 5 stars due to weak corners..
