These sound really good and are quite powerful for their size. I use them coupled alternately with 15" and 18" subwoofers and in that configuration, these handle the upper end very well. Very clear and strong, excellent high end.
I bought these starting off as a DJ, they were great. The volume is great for their size (they were bigger than i expected) and they are very light and portable. Bass isn't bad, but sound quality is great. If you're starting out or just want a pair to boost the volume a little bit, this is it. Alone, they'll make a smaller type room, or a small yard loud, easy. Good speakers.
