The Kustom Defender 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet is a solidly constructed speaker cab with a single 12" Kustom speaker. The Kustom Defender speaker handles 30W RMS and is rated at 16 ohms. The speaker itself is designed to produce rich, articulate clean tones and yet responds great to overdriven signals too. The Kustom cabinet uses a speaker baffle board made of plywood, which provides enhanced resonance.

  • Defender defender

    I was hoping for a boost in volume and and tone. I got both! I really think this may be the best return for the money I have ever spent, and I have been buying musical equipment for 47 years. This puppy rocks, the speaker has a very nice balance of tone and punch. I was prepared to replace the speaker but no! It is perfect for the cabinet!

  • Small, light, and great Price

    First off the for price this a great buy you can get a 112 cabinet and a decent little speaker. It's a open back design and overall the build quality is nice. The outside covering is pretty durably and won't scratch up to easily. The speaker works well with really bright amps, although if the amp is a bit dark then this speaker will really be too dark for it. I ended up taking out the Kustom speaker and loading in an Emerince 12". Now this little cab screams and is still pretty light. I'm rating it a 5 because of the quality of the build, just how light weight they were able to keep it, and the fact of it being a 12" extension cab for a great price. Do the more expensive cabs sound nice. Yeah, and better than this one, but just like I said more expensive. If you're buying a head, and the speaker cable, maybe a pedal, having another couple hundred to through down all at once is pretty hard to swallow.

  • Nice practice cab

    Really lightweight. Open back design is pretty cool, a lot of bass frequencies bleed out the back and boom around giving it a surprisingly thick tone Gig worthy but since these are so cheap, might as well by two. Definitely want to mic it or expect to be covered up by the drummer
