The Korg pitchjack is a guitar tuner that plugs directly into a guitar or bass instrument jack. The pitchjack tuner offers the features most sought after by gigging musicians, including a flat tuning mode for tuning as many as 7 semitones below standard pitch, and the ability to accurately tune 7-string guitars and 6-string basses.
The Korg pitchjack provides quick, accurate tuning virtually anywhere. The adjustable viewing angle of the pitchjack tuner's display can accommodate different guitar body shapes plus the angle and location of your bass or guitars jack.
The pitchjack has a compact folding design and accepts a key ring to easily attach it to your gig bag, case, or keychain. The Korg pitchjack tuner's built-in LED flashlight provides illumination as needed onstage or in other dimly lit situations.

This Korg tuner is the easiest and quickest tuner I've ever used. The led lights are easy to see in any light, and it weighs next to nothing!
A really nice tuner. Outside noise does not affect it. Real easy to use. I use it for my bass and guitar.
It's light and accurate. Very quick and easy for standard tuning. A little troublesome for non-standard, flatted notes.
I'm new to playing but figured out how to use this tuner instantly. It's basically plug-and-play. If I tuned my guitar with this the first day I received my guitar, anyone should know how to use it.
It took a while to get used to the flat-tuning feature, but otherwise its an awesome tuner. I use it on stage whenever i feel im a bit out of tune.
I got one in 2010 and I can say that it is a good idea and works pretty well, too. But it has a serious design flaw. If you have a Strat, that's fine but if you have a Les Paul or some other type of guitar (Tele, most of super strat type) you will find that it's hard to read the display due to its angle. If you have a Ibanez Jem or JS model, you can not use this due to the jack position. Another problem is... you need to disconnect the cable to use the tuner. I think in live situation, it's almost useless. It has a light function so maybe you can use it as a kinda zippo lighter in dark back stage or somewhere. For indoor practice only...
Easily helps tune guitar but you have to unplug to tune might be a disadvantage but not a big one accurate cool and easy plus it has a built in flashlight , Good for guitars not awesome for bass
