I have been searching for a keyboard for about 4 yrs now and I wasn't sure if this or the roland juno-d were the right one until I played them both and the sounds are better coming from x50 even though it's a few hundred more I had to have it and I have suprised my self every time I played it. Korg is the way to go really the x-50 is great for anyone whether you are learning or recording.dont sleep on korg ya'll!!
I just bought this masterpiece a couple days ago. Wow! The ability to layer sound after sound then tweak each one and add effects! This thing is amazing! Not only that I was taking a Fender Rhodes to gigs and it ways a ton. I can pick this thing up with my pinky(not kidding I've tried). I never write reviews for products but I have to tell you don't waste your money on a Triton if you need something for live performance. This is way cheaper, easier to manage and the capabilities are outstanding. It's my knew favorite thing in life.
I bought this keyboard about 3 months ago specifically for stage. I have always been skeptical of Korg for stage because they have never in the past been as stage friendly as other keyboards such as Roland. This keyboard changed my mind. Not only can it be just as flexible as a triton but with favorites settings the size and weight, you can't beat the combination. I have gotten compliments from our sound tech that this keyboard sounds great in out house. I added this keyboard to my existing Roland 300 sx to create a two tier setup. The combo is great.
