TonePros Kluson KR3 guitar tuning machines apply the tuner improvement technology of the 33 Series to the vintage 3 on a rail format. Typically you'll find this type of tuner on older '50s classic instruments such as Juniors or Specials. R3 series tuners utilize the classic white round plastic button. For years, many have sung the praises of having the row of 3 tuners connected to the back of the headstock for added resonance transfer. TonePros enhances this tradition with a solid baseplate for each row of 3 tuners.

Completely sealed, these tuning machines feature all titanium internal components and a 16:1 gear ratio. 12/64" shaft size. Retrofit your vintage guitar with no modification.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

  • Great Product but modification was needed to get them to fit properly!

As reviewed by Brett on 4/29/2011

I have a 1948 Gibson J-50 with non-original tuners on it so I knew I needed these to get as close to the original as possible. I got them in and they looked to be perfect, however I ran into an issue when I tried to put them on my headstock. There is a lip which you cannot see on the one picture they show at all. The lip makes them to wide to fit through the holes in the headstock. I carefully had to round out the holes quite a bit for these to be able to fit. Once I got them on and put new strings on my guitar, my baby sung! It is a great product but you will need to modify your guitar more than likely.
