TonePros KF6B are designed for the 6-in-line format. These tuners are designed with classic features but with performance in mind. F6B Series tuners pay critical attention to the all-important winding height, which is necessary for the split/top load design of yesteryear's 6 on
a side tuners. F6B features the same high-performance machine gears of the other B Series tuners, including the extremely tight, 15:1 high gear ratio. Special clipped 7 screw set based plates are included for classic vintage appearance, and classic matching finish metal buttons
are standard for this model. Retrofit your vintage guitar with no modification.

  • Not A Direct Bolt On

    I had to take my guitar to my guitar tech as the existing holes for the machine heads were too small and the existing screw holes on were too large. That being said, this was a tremendous upgrade for my guitar. It now stays in tune.

  • NOt a direct fit

    Great tuners, However they are NOT a direct retrofit for a vintage guitar. I have a 59 neck that had slightly LARGER holes and bought these tuners because of the bolt bushing to tighten up the fit. Even with the slightly larger holes I had to ream the holes to make it fit.. Repeat, NOT a direct retrofit. Otherwise a nice item Bruce
