    These tuners are totally worth the money!!! they are affordable and keep my guitar in tune all the time! the only problem i have had so far is keeping the g ( or third as some may call it ) string in tune, but it usually only drops about half a step so no big deal. other than that everything was great. easy installment and looks great on my PRS guitar. i am completely satisfied.

  • They work, but not drop in ready, nor perfect...

    I had to have the openings reamed out bigger on my 2000 vintage Les Paul Classic. When they are not breaking strings, they do actually work. I broke two strings the first weekend I had these tuners on. I try to use 10 gauge pure nickle strings which are not easy to find. But they broke the string right at the tuner. I have not had these very long. The keys match the inlays very well, better than the old stock keys, and the finish matches the rest of the hardware well.

  • Very poor ability to stay in tune, which is surprising

    I have a Custom 24 PRS with PRS locking tuners which are absolutely fabulous at keeping the guitar in tune. I decided to add these Kluson tuners to my Gibson Flying V which was a huge mistake. They do not have a great gear ratio and also slip. Tuning is harder than on the PRS and the quality of the tuners is totally horrible. This is surprising when you consider the cost. Save your money and buy anything else.
