Comments about Klotz Joe Bonamassa Instrument Cable ST/ST:
I wanted a cable that would be durable, flexible, quiet, lay flat and have nice plugs. I accept that cables don't add tone or bump a specific frequency range - cables reduce the signal from your pickups to your amp via capacitance which rolls off the highs and can be perceived as shifting the frequency range towards the bass. This cable noticeably reveals the signal after it has left the guitars input jack - clear with full, detailed lows. I like this cable for it's flexibility, clarity, weight and moderate cable thickness. I find that a longer/higher capacitance cable can diminish the effectiveness of my Les Pauls tone knob and I like having a preserved tone to brighten or reduce the highs via the controls on the guitar while also having the purest signal reach the amp and if necessary, dial thing back as opposed to trying to recover or add lost tone via the amps dials. Great cable - highly recommend.
