Overview

Kerly Sinister Strings are nickel wound, heavy gauge strings seasoned between minus 320F and plus 350F for 24 hours to reduce the microcracks that cause tonal loss and premature breakage. Thanks to the repetitive HOT/COLD tempering process, the microcracks close up, preventing the buildup of dirt and corrosion. Strength, sound and string life are enhanced.

Feeling a heavy gauge string underneath your fingertips gives you extra power while cutting through with an unmistakable growl and chunk. These tonal flavors are a necessity for hard hitting, drop tuned riffs, and passion driven playing. Thermal cycling increases durability and dramatically reduces wear.

Sinister heavy gauge+ Schecter Hellraiser= metal of the Gods!!!!!!!!!

By Chuck Hughes

from Spokane, WA

Comments about Kerly Music Sinister Strings Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings Extra Heavy:

Excellent strings for metal. i can drop down a quarter(2 1/2 steps) and these things still deliver amazing tone and sustain. although in standard tuning bending on the G string is IMPOSSIBLE,(why would you want heavy gauge if your gonna be in standard all the time, ehh?) i love these things

Accidentally got these but im happy

By Stella Munoz

Comments about Kerly Music Sinister Strings Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings Extra Heavy:

i got these because i didn't look at the gauge, i wanted the extra heavy's because i play in C standard and Drop A#, but i thought they wouldn't be big enough but i said screw it and threw them on and there still pretty tight and not flopping at all they sound pretty good and have a unique sound that compliments my style of playing and add a heaviness that other strings don't give in my opinion

Great Strings

By YouNeedThese!!

from Lexington, Ky

Comments about Kerly Music Sinister Strings Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings Extra Heavy:

These strings are my new fave strings. They sound great. They have that "already broken in" feel to them that I have been looking for. I seriously have used every kind of string you can imagine and these are by far my favorite. Check them out and decide for yourself though.

Just what I was looking for

By Jacob

from California

Comments about Kerly Music Sinister Strings Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings Extra Heavy:

If you are like me, you are looking for tightness with your drop tuning. I used to use 12-52 for my drop C guitar, but the G string is wrapped which makes bending impossible. Also, 52 may sound heavy, but it's nothing to a C tuning. When I foung these and put them on, it was like magic. The 56 is so much tighter, while the G string is the heaviest you're going to find without being wrapped. Not to mention the brightness, and the fact they haven't lost any tone for a month now. These are a must have for any drop tuner/crushing metal head. Try them. You won't go back to any other brand.
