Here is a professional quality F-Style mandolin, offered by Kentucky at a surprisingly affordable price relative to the materials used, the design excellence and the attention to detail in the construction and finish. Only the finest American spruce and maple is hand-carved and graduated for the tops and backs. Deluxe 14:1 reverse tuners, pre-war style ebony bridge and side-striped w/b/w ivoroid body binding all reek vintage. Take a trip back to the early 20s on the Kentucky time machine...it is surprisingly affordable.

Comments about Kentucky KM-1000B Master F-Model Mandolin:

Doesn't come with a pick guard. DONT play without it. Played for several hours and then noticed I had scratched the finish down to the wood....ouch.
Have a pick guard now.
The sound from it is amazing. Loud, ringing tone that is easily heard with other instruments playing.
