The Keeley Time Machine Boost is a two-channel guitar preamp and booster effect pedal. It delivers a range of powerful guitar tones and is extremely effective for driving your tube amp into overdrive or saturation. The two channels are vintage and modern. The Vintage channel is inspired by the highly coveted and sought-after vintage germanium boost pedals favored by guitarists worldwide. The Modern channel gives you 23dB of pure, clean, transparent gain fueled by dual JFET transistors. The use of a special voltage-doubling IC gives the Time Machine lots of headroom. As with all Keeley-built electronics, this preamp and boost pedal incorporates top-of-the-line audiophile-quality parts like silver solder, teflon-coated wiring, and metal film caps and resistors.

  • Legendary Keeley Tone

    Ah, what a professional, solid piece of gear. This is an early idea from the Keeley camp. It's circuit has long been proven as one of the best, as it continues to stand the test of time. The vintage and modern switches give you a wide variety of usable tones, without ever sounding like it's trying to do more than it can do. Every sound I've gotten out of it has been great. And hey, if it's good enough for the tone snob Eric Johnson, it's good enough for me.

  • Absolutely perfect

    All 6 Keeley pedals I own are tremendously well made and really enhance my tone without any coloring of my original signal. This TMB is incredible as it really drives the tubes to saturation and makes the sound soar. Used on my clean channels it really gets to an overdriven sound yet the clean cuts through. Very responsive to volume knob adjustments. On my high gain channels it enhances the harmonics and retains the bite of my sound. Time Machine Boost is extremely versatile and will help you get the most from your guitars and amps. Well worth the money. Keeley products in general are some of the best I've ever heard/played.

  • Disappointing

    Vintage channel is thin, modern channel is more full and on the clean side and very nice. There's no heavy gain option on this at all on this box. Very disappointed.
