Keeley Compressor Guitar Effect Pedal (150355)
Availability:

A studio-grade compressor in a guitar stompbox.

The Keeley Compressor pedal is built using tone-tested components and true bypass switching for a clean, unaffected sound when the pedal is off. Metal film resistors and capacitors ensure the cleanest compressor on the market. Hand-matched transistors to less than 1% tolerance ensures you get a perfectly compressed signal, no chance for unwanted distortions.

The Keeley Compressor is the new standard for guitar compression. It won the Editor's Pick Award from Guitar Player Magazine and, most recently, the Reader's Choice Award for the stompbox category. It features an internal attack control to make it suitable for high-output active basses. It also features an input sensitivity control which allows it to be used in the studio for keyboards, drum machines, for mastering, and other line-level uses.

Low current draw, just 5mA. Uses a standard 9V DC battery and has an AC adapter connection.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

  • Best on the market!

As reviewed by Mike on 11/10/2008

The Keeley Compressor is by far the best compressor on the market today. I've used T-REX, MXR, Barber, Emma, Maxon, BOSS, and various studio compressors and the Keeley beats them all. This is by far the most transparent compressor available today. Whether tube or solid state, this pedal will not colour your tone. If you are looking for a way to improve your tone, this is the best place to start. This pedal also works great in the studio. And for a little more control, try the 4-knob version. I've owned this pedal for almost a year now and I don't have a single complaint. The Keeley Compressor is definately worth the price. You won't be disappointed.

  • Top Choice Compressor

As reviewed by Bob on 1/20/2009

This compressor is outstanding, and delivers what's expected. It makes my whole setup sound more professional, and adds the bit of sustain I need on leads. I would reommend this to anyone looking for a stage performance compressor. Only problem I have is there is quite a bit of hum, but not sure it's all coming from the compressor. I use all mogami and monster TRS cables of high quality to reduce hum. I will need to buy a hum eliminator now, but all in all, this is a fantastic compressor. I think compressors in general all hum. No question it is worth the money.

  • Great Compressor

As reviewed by Steven on 6/29/2009

Would I trade my studio compressors for this? No, That's ridiculous. However, this compressor is fantastic in line on my pedal board. Really great at doing it's job and it "is" transparent unless you don't want it to be. I put My Distortion pedal in front of it. My OD - Delay and Chorus after it (in that order). If you're thinking about buying a comp for your pedal board, I would recommend this this Keeley pedal. 5+ stars.
