Simple and Efficient
I just recently bought this, and man am I glad.. It's incredible what a difference such a simple little device can make.
Before, I would wait until my strings were either broken, or completely shot to change them. And as a performoing musician, this can really bring down the quality of your sound, and therefore your performance. But now, when there is even a hint that my strings are going, it takes only a couple minutes and I'm sounding great again.
It also is a life saver at if you break a string at a gig. In under a minute you are right on stage.

Faster
If you are a guitarist and you don't have one a string winder "what are you waiting for?" This string winder is 1000% faster than changing your strings by hand. I don't know what I would do without this; I'd most likely wait for my strings to break before changing them by hand. I have been using this string winder since I bought my guitar about 7years ago and it's still as good as new. I would easily pay much more for this product just to save the time and aggravation of changing strings by hand.

A must have for any guitarist
The Kay String Winder is one of those things that is so cheap that there isn't any reason why you shouldn't have it. It's always a good idea to have one around because even if you personally don't use a string winder, you never know if one of your friends might need one while you are all jamming. It'll speed up the restringing process, which will give you more time to actually play. Plus, it's super low price makes it almost dispensable, but it is of good enough quality to last you a while.
