The case is similar to a hard case in size and in that the interior is the same rigid foam covered with soft shag carpeting. The exterior is soft fabric like a gig bag. The case is light compared to a hard case, but not extremely light. I really like this case for carrying my travel/student guitar. The shoulder straps allow me to conveniently carry the guitar all over town and even on my motorcycle. The straps pack away behind a zipper to keep them from flopping around when using just the handle. The case is pretty sturdy and well made. It?s new, and if anything explodes, I?ll update the post, but I don?t anticipate any major problems. The case has some draw backs. Because the exterior is fabric, not hinged, the top shifts and rubs against the guitar edges when closing. The ?large pockets? are not large. I can fit in one lesson book or a couple small scores, but the largest pocket is not designed to carry a large book or anything with much thickness. The other pockets are quite small, only large enough for a set of strings or small cloth. The pockets cannot be filled with anything weighty because they put pressure on the guitar top. Lastly, this case cannot be used as a foot stool like a hard case. I wouldn?t feel comfortable trusting my concert guitar in this case. For my travel/student guitar, this case rocks.
It has been 3 yrs since I bough this case and the condition is awesome! By far the best guitar case I've ever used! I still use it 4 all my traveling purposes and music events. No other case can compare to this case. The price has gone up though. I wish there could be a 10 star score! I really recommend this case for the pro, mid, and new musician and if u really love ur instrument it really is worth it!
This is my second polyform case and I couldn't be more pleased. The sale price made this a real bargain. I won't buy another hardshell case, as these are so-o-o- light.
The case it self is great, meaning that, the features that it has are great. My guitar was hand made in Mexico it is a classical guitar made of some exotic rosewood, back and sides, and a Canadian cedar top. So I wanted a case that would protect my guitar as best as possible but also to be light, pretty and affordable. So, I got the case, I liked it, but the problem my guitar's sound box is 4.6 inches in depth, and for a classical it is a little bigger than a regular classical. It fits to tight and since the website does not offers the dimensions for the case it might be a good idea to know this: Case depth is 3.5 inches in the inside. But I made it fit with out damaging neither the guitar nor the case since foam is very manageable even though this case foam is surprisingly excellent . The backpack straps are great, the storage great, and quality dissent. The case is very nice inside & out padded, nice fuzzy inside great to protect the finish for scratches and a very good size for traveling as well. Really recommend this case in general. It's good in every aspect of it, even better if a guitar fits well with out making adjustments.
