The Kaces KCP-5 Crash Pad Drum Rug is a 5-1/2' x 4-1/2' heavy-duty black polypropylene fabric rug. Nonskid rubber trim prevents creeping. Covered wood barrier keeps bass drum in place. Finished and weighted corners. The Kaces drum rug includes a nylon carry bag.
I just got this rug, and i've had no problems with it. My bass drum no longer moves, and my double bass pedal stays right where i want it. The only thing i didnt like was the folds in the rug, but they work out after a while.

This rug has developed folds running top to bottom next to the bass drum pad that never flatten out (you can see them in the picture). These folds are extremely annoying, as they happen to be exactly where one of my snare stands' legs sits, which puts it up on an angle. As far as keeping stuff in place, I suppose it does do that very well, but the folds are extremely frustrating.

This drum rug has been, I think, one of the best investments in my drumming accessories. It keeps my drums in place and looks good doing it. Before I had this rug, my bass drum would always slide. This rug stopped that. My only complaint is that it really isn't big enough for a bigger drum set with lots of cymbals and toms. It works great for my 4-piece though.

The Kaces KCP-5 make setting up so easy. I marked my drum rack positions on it and every night my kit is right where I want it. Easy to roll up and trasnport when your done.

This rug looks like a great product. Lightweight and it folds up easily so you can tote it around. The problem is the material they used for the rug. It's too thin and it stretches and tries to retain all of the folds if you fold it up and move it around a lot. The material is just too light for a drum rug. When I went to set up my kit at a gig, I found myself stretching the rug into place while I was setting everything up. Very annoying. If you don't get it placed properly during setup, things will move while you're playing. For a one-time rug that stays in your home it may be suitable but not for gigging out. I replaced this with 5x7 $20 rug and although it takes up more space in my load-out, I'm much happier with it.

This is an awesome drum rug. I know some of the other reviews say that the creases get in the way or get annoying but I experienced none of that. The creases were still a little visible, but I could set up my kit with no problem. Everything stays perfectly in place. The bass drum block keeps the bass drum from moving, and my hihats stay in place even without a block. I'm even considering buying a second one over lapping the two so I can use my double bass set up. Highly Recommended, and the cheapest one at guitarcenter too.

I recently got my rug and i love it. it's a struggle trying to keep a mat around when playing on stages, because i,d forget my mat or there was no mats around. at times i used my car mats lol. so i recmmend this drummers rug to everybody that plays drums. you wont regret it. and the cost it very good. so slip to the store and your drums wont slip again.
