this pad is not what i was expecting at all! i thought this would be an OK pad...but instead it is AMAZING!!! this is a huge upgrade from my normal Remo pad....this pad is much quieter and more responsive...i recommend this to ANYONE
for the same price, or cheaper, as the less flashy and exciting pads sold in the stores, i got the checkerboard print pad. it's exactly what it said it would be, nothing less, and nothing more. perfect. shipping was great, price was great. not much more to say about something this simple.
I bought this since my old remo pad just wasn't working for me, it was too loud, didn't have good stick response, and I saw this one. I couldn't resist but to buy it (skull) it has such a cool design to it an since it is a little smaller than others (about 6 inches wide maybe) it REALLY helps with precision, and this thing is so quiet, I literally used ahead tommy lee's and hit as hard as i could and it was still super quiet, you can practice your drum roll technique among other things all night and not wake anyone up, im in love with this pad and you wont regret buying it AT ALL.
