KRK Makes Mixing Easier

I have been using these speakers for about a year now and they have changed my music and mixing perspective completely. The response is solid and flat; giving the listener the best representation of the mix for a very reasonable price. If you are serious, even semi-serious about your mix, these speakers are worth it. Although, I would recommend getting the KRK subwoofer as well to help with the bottom end...especially for hip-hop and dance music.

Sweet Sounding Monitors

I love the sound from these monitors and the features are great too. Perfect volume to me. Bass hits hard and pleasant and highs and mids are awesome sounding. I never heard any of the other KRK"s but these in my opinion are awesome.

Clear Accurate Sound for a Good Price!

I purchased the KRK V6 monitors on a recommendation from the ProAudio salesperson I trusted at Guitar Center, and am confident I made the right purchase. While initially looking into Event TR8's, when I compared both, the KRK's were the clear choice. I've been using them at home now for about two years, and am consistently impressed with their quality and clarity. I often hear details in the music that friends' monitors don't pick up, and the sound reproduction is accurate without having an overly hyped bass. Although I use these for rock/pop-type applications, a good friend uses the same monitors for electronica music, and is equally happy with them. They've been worth every penny and I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

A good monitor but a little expensive

These are pretty much the same as the V811 series of monitors except that they have durable 6? kevlar woofer. I found these to have an even more flat and accurate response. This monitor has a very good midrange that is something many of them in this range lack. The high frequency is also represented very well without becoming distorted. These monitors give a very clear and uncolored representation of the music that is essential for mixing and mastering. These also have a speaker protection circuit in order to prevent damaging the speaker from unforeseen volume spikes. This monitor is built to last and provide a high quality uncompromised sound. The monitor is built to handle 120 watts of power, but I would recommend not using them past 75% otherwise they tend to distort the high frequencies.

Very satisfying sound!

The KRK V6II's are some excellent-sounding monitors. I use them for mixing primarily R&B and unique Dance music. The bottom end is tight and well-defined. The mids sit perfectly in the mix and the high end is clear and never harsh. Every mix I've done on these monitors has translated very, very well onto other systems. They have more than enough power and look great with the high-tech yellow woofer. You simply can't go wrong with these monitors.
