Big Boom For The Buck

I have a pretty decent studio (Pro Tools) in my home I have used many different reference setups in the past from very expensive to fairly cheap I now own a pair of VXT-8's along with a RP-10 sub, all I can say is this system KNOCKS I produce alot of Hip-Hop with tons of BASS and it holds all my low end without any weird noises or vibrations smooth clean BOTTOM, SUB-BASS and for the price you can't possibly go wrongI wish they would put a AUTO-MUTE on the sub oh well you cann't have everything

An excellent addition to any monitor set

I purchased this to add more bass response to my recording monitors and I was very impressed with their quality. They add the missing punch that most monitors miss providing the listener with a more accurate interpretation of the song. I also appreciate that the RP-10 has a level control so that you can adjust the subwoofer presence individually from the rest of the monitors. If you do not have a subwoofer for you monitors I would highly recommend these.

KRK companion

Not the largest, deepest, or most impressive sub around, but a solid value for the money. The RP-10S works well with other KRK monitors, particularly the V4s, which need a little extra help in the bass area. It does lack their auto-off, and doesn't offer a front or remote switch to compensate. But once it's on it has plenty of clean bass, and can be easily tuned by stuffing some studiofoam into the rectangular port.
