Comments about John Pearse 600L Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

The other day I walked into the Woodbury GC and was looking to replaced the strings on my Fender. I asked the sales staff about what strings they would recommend. He refered me to these strings. I put them on last night and WOW!!!! what a differance. I counldn't put the guitar down, they sounded really good. I'm going to be replacing the other guitar with these also.

awesome strings

By Bill Hudson

from scottsdale Az

Comments about John Pearse 600L Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I've been looking for the right strings for my OMC Martin Fingerstyle 1 and my Taylor. These are IT! Taylor Guitar like Exilar strings. But for me all I hear is treble and struming a chord the notes are lost in it. Martin strings are great but just a bit to soft in sound. I couldn't find an agressive edge to them. All I ever wanted in an acoustic string is right here. Bright sound when you want it. Agressive when you push them and want to make that statement. Soft when you desire with a clear tone that resinates long. Now here is the real plus. Put them on, play about 10 minutes and they are done stretching. They stay in tune and I could go on. Great strings. Thanks John.

Best Strings Ever

By Joe Evers

from Boston, MA

Comments about John Pearse 600L Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Wow. These got recommended to me by a salesman. I was a bit skeptical given that I have never heard of them, and there was only 2 rows of them (out of hundreds of other strings), but WOW. What a difference! I slapped em on a cheap Epiphone Dreadnought, and they make it sound like guitar 3x the price. They are bright, incredibly light, and do not wear down. I HIGHLY recommend these strings. It's all I'll ever use.

Just Right

By Chris Munro

from Taylor, MI.

Comments about John Pearse 600L Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I have tried Elixirs, Martin, Ernie Ball, and severa others with my new Gibson J-45. I like the original Gibson Masterbilt but they are hard to find. I tried these from a recommendation from one of the guys at GC ( thanks Dylan from Allen Park MI.) and I absolutely love them. Finger pick, strum, percussive techniques - they all sound great and the notes are all there. I get that nice deep bass, even middles, and all the highs.

Light as the SUN!!

By Diego Rose

from Buffalo, New York

Comments about John Pearse 600L Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I live in a area where everybody and their step uncle play acoustic guitar and all I can say is Wow! What a difference than the Martins SP 11- 52 Phosphor Bronze that so many people in and around Guitar Center Buffalo, NY have recommended. But these (John Pearse-strings)actually feel as LIGHT if not LIGHTER than the Martin 11s that I was using! I still have some other strings to try but for the most part I'm really sold on these awesome, crisp, clear, light, invigorating, and exciting strings. People, you can't go wrong with John Pearse acoustic guitar strings in my opinion.

Comments about John Pearse 600L Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I have used John Pearse 600L (12-53)on my Martin DRS-2 for over a year now. They sound as good as or better than strings costing $15-$20. (Coated strings like Elxirs and Cleartones)Rich full tone,
good low end, crisp highs and harmonics, MUCH more than other strings in this price range. Martin recommends you put Medium strings on their 6 strings, and they ship from the factory with Mediums installed. But these sound just as good as the Mediums and are easier to play. I play a half hour to an hour every single day, and change strings every 4-6 weeks. You can afford to at their price. Some people don't like non-coated strings because of "finger squeak noise". Hey, if that bothers you, buy some of that lubricating stuff you can spray on or wipe on your strings.
I don't, though. I highly recomend these strings.
They also make them in 11's and 10's, but GC doesn't carry them.

Comments about John Pearse 600L Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I started to struggle with playing a few years back & I ended up investing in a Yamaha "Silent" guitar. I "loved" the guitar but sadly, not their "original" strings so I immediately went with "Elixir" as that's what I'd been using! Thankfully, early on, this 1 time I went to GC and they were out of them and, being it had been so long since buying anything other then Elixir, I asked the kid, okay, well, what would be your next pick? So he suggested the John Pearce 600L and I can't thank him enough!! I've been using these strings, ever since!! They keep their beautiful tone no matter how you play it!! I get more "compliments" on how "Great" my guitar sounds when I'm playing out, people are amazed! And yes, the Yamaha has some nice onboard effects but, it's the strings, that bring the guitar to life!! So, for me, I have the "perfect" combination.... My Yamaha "Silent" & the awesome sounding John Pearce strings!! Like "Bread & Buttah" Baby!! Woo! Your Friend In Music... Mama Dee

    Best Beginner Strings

    By Diamond Dave

    from Albuquerque, NM

Comments about John Pearse 600L Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I am a beginning player and these strings were highly recommended by the local Guitar Center guy for the 1st re-stringing. They were a little more expensive than other brands, but after 1 month, these strings sound really great, and they are becoming easier and easier to play. I know this also has a lot to do with building calluses on my finger tips, but I am enjoying learning a new instrument so much, I believe these John Pearse guitar strings have a lot to do with that. I will re-string my Fender Acoustic with these from now on, and I recommend the JP600L for all beginners! Try them. 5 stars from me.
