John Pearse is a small string company, known quite well in bluegrass circles. Great strings!

The other day I walked into the Woodbury GC and was looking to replaced the strings on my Fender. I asked the sales staff about what strings they would recommend. He refered me to these strings. I put them on last night and WOW!!!! what a differance. I counldn't put the guitar down, they sounded really good. I'm going to be replacing the other guitar with these also.
I've been looking for the right strings for my OMC Martin Fingerstyle 1 and my Taylor. These are IT! Taylor Guitar like Exilar strings. But for me all I hear is treble and struming a chord the notes are lost in it. Martin strings are great but just a bit to soft in sound. I couldn't find an agressive edge to them. All I ever wanted in an acoustic string is right here. Bright sound when you want it. Agressive when you push them and want to make that statement. Soft when you desire with a clear tone that resinates long. Now here is the real plus. Put them on, play about 10 minutes and they are done stretching. They stay in tune and I could go on. Great strings. Thanks John.
I was introduced to these Acousic Strings by my Dad, Who was one of the most amazing Flat Pickers EVER! He bought a set and put them on his Martin, he loved them, he told me to play it, I loved them, put them on my sons guitar, now, None of us would use any other strings on our accoustics, bright sound, great feel, no "wear-in" period, beautiful tone. simply the best acoustic string in any guage, available anywhere! buy em up and Enjoy!
